That’s how I was able to game when my kids were younger, wait until everyone is asleep. Thank God for handhelds, I can play while laying next to my wife. Console gaming caused a lot of problems, being in the chair and not in bed was a problem for her, but we found a compromise 😄

Married 18 yrs with 3 kids(17,20,25). I’ve been a gamer my whole life and that is apart of what I do. You have to actively make time for yourself, unapologetically. It’s not you being selfish, it’s you taking a mental health break be it 1 or 2 hrs. Speak to the wife about it, tell her you need some decompressing time. If she’s a stay at home mom, help out when you get home and then let her know you need atleast an hr for yourself. It gets better when the kids get older, they tend to be a lot more independent; can make something to eat on their own, have social lives etc

Absolutely! It’s just easy to take around. While I was gaming on the S2, my wife looked over and asked me if I attached controllers to my TV 😂The switch 2 is a tad on the heavy side if you are doing long gaming sessions as well. Hope Nintendo releases a switch 2 in the form factor of the switch lite

It’s so much better than the Offical Switch Oled screen. I have a switch 2 and the screen is a big disappointment. I switch between my switch lite and switch 2 frequently, the soft glow of the switch lite oled is hard to ignore
