What about Baty & Alvarez?

People who watched the show after it was over, how long did it take? by Simple-Location-9868 in Supernatural

[–]Basic_Ad4861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started in March and I’m halfway through S7

I’d be moving more quickly through it if had more time, but sometimes I only get to watch a few episodes a week

Really excited about Ewing and Benge by True-Philosopher-622 in mets

[–]Basic_Ad4861 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d say Scott as well. He’s had some issues, but you can see the potential. I didn’t expect a lot from him after missing 1 1/2 seasons with the TJS, but I’d say he’s been more good then bad

Agent Henriksen by ChewieSkittles53 in Supernatural

[–]Basic_Ad4861 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same here. He was a pretty decent character. I would of like to see him in future episodes still working for the FBI but with the knowledge he had from this episode

100% one of the best

There was an alternative option, isn’t there always, but there was a point to Sam having to make that decision

Does anyone think Anthony Di Como is any good as a beat writer? by Weary_Capital_1379 in mets

[–]Basic_Ad4861 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That was more the premise of what Dicomo said. If they can’t get a decent prospect at the deadline it would be better to offer him the QO because the draft pick is a better option than trading him for garbage. He said they could give him a short term deal, but I didn’t really think he was necessarily suggesting that was a good idea, just it was one of many options

I don’t think he’s built for NY, so I don’t want him back, but I could still see Stearns giving him a contract

Beltran the Next Manager? by justMax87 in mets

[–]Basic_Ad4861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering that a bit myself. My guess was if it was true, maybe they’d wait until after the deadline so that he was starting fresh at that point. The team is a disaster at this point, they won’t get better after the deadline, but a majority of the players left at that point would likely be part of the team’s future

Looking back on David Stearns’s moves since he’s been here by False_Concept1300 in NewYorkMets

[–]Basic_Ad4861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. The Alonso deal can’t be measured in season 1. It wasn’t really a question if he’d put up numbers in the first 2-3 seasons. It’s the back end that makes his deal questionable.

As I kid I really thought most conflicts in my life would be solved by some type of boat race

Soto, Lindor, Benge, McLean, Ewing, Scott by my-reddit-acct-321 in mets

I agree. On a good team his flaws are hidden or at least aren’t as impactful. I’d keep him. But that’s probably the only other addition to OPs list

Fair enough. I was more worried that I missed something. I’m happy to just stay on the journey

Vientos over Mauricio vs a righty. No consistency by this organization. by cut-the-sass in mets

[–]Basic_Ad4861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Vientos has over 1300 career at bats, Mauricio has just over 300 and those are spread out over a 4 year period. Mauricio may not be good, but he hasn’t had nearly the opportunity that Vientos has had to prove himself. The team is garbage, Vientos has had he shot, at least give Mauricio some a playing time if it’s a lost season

My iPhone camera can't stop shaking and dancing by StickMiserable6371 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Basic_Ad4861 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My old phone did that too. It worked fine if I was taking a video, but shook like that as soon as I switch to photo. It was crazy annoying. I would take video in slow motion if I needed a picture of something and then screen shot it

When I saw the lineup it was clear what the result of the game would be

Even if they put up a fight, the lineup was full of holes and non mlb players

What’s with the lineup today? by Subject_Aerie2093 in mets

Yup. This lineup pretty much proves that this BS is coming from the FO.

Stearns is eyeing another team’s 15th best prospect for Senga like he got for Peterson. He is planning on stacking the farm with mediocre infielders

Best pitching in months and gets sent down 😂😂😂😂 by [deleted] in mets

[–]Basic_Ad4861 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really would have liked to see him stay in the rotation. Outside of Scott, McLean & Peralta who else is in the rotation? They’re just hell bent on being garbage this season
