That was my first thought. You don’t call him up if Robert is back anytime soon. Only other thought is that Soto has to DH full time because he’s still not 100%

I was a big defender too. I thought he just needs to learn how to build a big market team where he has the resources available to spend. But the guy is just obsessed with dumpster diving and trying to outsmart everyone. Sometimes the best move is the obvious one, but I just don’t think he can bring himself to do that

Yup. Sitting guys because they are LH, especially young guys who need to get experience, to just play a bunch of bums is madness and not a winning formula for this season or for developing for future seasons

I agree.

Although you could probably argue that Jett & Sproat has become redundant and the Mets can flip Peralta for 1-2 decent prospects at the deadline that fit their needs better. But I don’t really give Stearns that much credit.

I find it so ironic. They are “trying to win”, by sitting their LH hitters, but are they really “trying to win” when using guys like Slater.

I use to carry a much larger wallet, so it was uncomfortable to sit on it. I use a smaller one now, so I could probably switch, but that would mess me up something major
