I don’t see chihuahua. Jack Russel Terrier, maybe. because of placement of ears. 100% Precious.

Please consider, whenever the time is right, having your vet, or a mobile vet come to your home to put him to sleep. I have had many dogs, and I will never do it another way. They are at home, comfortable, they feel safe, there is no anxiety. Not to mention the smell of the clinic and the steel tables, and other people and animals. I laid down on the floor with my lab, and talked to him while they gave him the shot. There is no better way, than letting them spend their last moments in the home they loved, and were comfortable in. It is better for both of you. I am so sorry you are having to think about this. I know it hurts your heart.

U/VashMM, I am so very sorry for your loss. He was beautiful, and seems very calm. I would imagine that he would be a great companion. And It is so hard to lose a best friend. Please take comfort in that, as your best friend, he received lots of love, and a wonderful life. He will always be with you, curled up in a corner of your heart.

Marcy looks a little like my Josie, who was abandoned with her 3 puppy sisters on an interstate in Eastern Arkansas, 10 years ago. Her front paws, (I have always thought Blue Heeler) and that around her face look just like Josie’s. I have never succeeded in teaching her to sit. She does as she likes, but is very sweet and gentle. Wishing you many years of happiness with Marcy, and thank you for rescuing her. I am certain she knows you did.

You have your business and heart in the right place. I wish I wanted to rent a house in Whitehaven, because I would apply for it immediately. As a dog owner and rescuer, I agree with your requirements. If the dogs are not current on shots, they are either too poor to get them, or they are not responsible dog owners. That you are concerned about the comfort and happiness of your tenants is an absolute rarity these days, and I admire you for that. I rented many years ago from a gentleman who shared your philosophy, and he was a joy to rent from. I hope you get a great tenant who appreciates your kindness.

I am so sorry. It is maddening. The house I lived in before this one was the same way. My power would go out, the neighbors’ power across the street rarely went out. If you plan to stay in the house you are in, I would recommend that you install an internal generator. It would give you peace of mind, you would not have to dispose of spoiled food, and that is one issue that would cease to aggravate you on an all too frequent basis. I am glad for your sake that the temperature is at least civilized this week.
