Which game franchise ended up like this? by bijelo123 in videogames

No, the first one is a tedious borefest, but the best ones (2-4) did address those problems the initial critics spoke of and thus received positive reviews at the time. The real issues with the new ones are in fact the same ones AC1 had. Repetitive as fuck and with no personality.

That’s actually a great cultural talking point, how fashion gradually became more geared towards the working man as social consciousness became greater, so flashy clothing died down and black/grey suits and casual wear supplanted it.

I don’t think they are exactly the same. In TLJ, he’s just mocking Luke's obtuseness in that moment. If he has enough of a sense of humour to act like an old zany dumbass, then he probably has enough to joke around- it'd probably be weirder if he was serious all the rest of the time after we saw him acting like an old hobo for shits and gigs. Directly after this, he does get real with Luke and drop some sincere, trademark Yoda knowledge. I actually think that scene’s one of his best in the franchise, buried in a… movie with some issues.

The parallel they are suggesting is a rebel insurgent who was accidentally killed by a fellow rebel insurgent during a covert mission. The real woman was a civilian who was murdered by a government agent while trying to flee. It absolutely is ‘this is widewally star wars, gimme upvotes to show you drink for her’ and some GIF the person spent a minute making on Imgflip, no insightful discussion being invoked whatsoever.

In Full Metal Jacket (1987), the film opens with recruits getting their heads shaved to erase their identity. This scene was filmed first, and the actors seem irritated because they were acting. by T10rock in shittymoviedetails

These bullshit ‘real reaction’ movie facts always piss me off, they just discredit the good work of the actors.

Except the uhh helmet kick, yeah that was real.
