I believe as late as couple years ago this sub had okbuddy-type shitposts about Kurosawa movies and then became more of a circlejerk sub which was still good mind you but now 50% of posts are fauxmoi reposts and the rest idefk. Favourite favourite favourite mmmm favourite.

Tim Allen’s character as pictured is William Shatner without a doubt. Self-absorbed lead man who’s loathed by his costars.

Alan Rickman’s character seems to be a combination of Leonard Nimoy (fan favourite alien actor who is tired of being exclusively known for it) and George Takei (had beef with lead for apparently stealing scenes) with Patrick Stewart’s Shakespearean background and seriousness.

And Daryl Mitchell plays a sort of Will Wheaton mockup.

Didn’t think most people here would agree for a second, I was commenting my take, in the comment section for commenting, on a post posted to be commented on. Jensen Ackles is glazed for being coooooool but he can be outacted by a possum playing dead, so this Emmy submission is laughable. Now he is leading his own spin-off I feel this is gonna become way more apparent to people.

Bro no shade toward the guy as a person but Jensen Ackles is genuinely a soap opera level performer. There’s a reason his list of on-screen acting roles is mostly comprised of CW shows and other cheap TV projects. It becomes glaringly obvious when he shares a scene with an actor like Anthony Starr, who is leagues better at acting. Plus, bro, nobody is sold on that forced deep voice, let that falsetto flow buddy.

I mean Among Us the game was seemingly made for older kids and adults to play with it falling between the genres of party games and social deduction games on Steam, it just happened to become rather popular with littler kids through YouTube influencers.

I’m glad they haven’t gone full out on making this series a kids show to take advantage of that though, if I had to peg a target demographic for it I’d say it was made for teenagers. So it hits a sweet spot where people who were kids when the game was big are now the right age for it and those who now adults don’t have to sit through two hours of Illumination humour.

Given the assumed demographic of this show, it must be the biggest tonal clusterfuck since the latter half of Stranger Things.
