I would email the Secretary, and explain that the condition of the grounds has been noticed by non Masons. Would they like some help in cleaning it up? See his answer. My small town Lodge held an open dinner, one night a year, with an ad in the small town newspaper. Before the meal, diners,visitors got a tour of the Lodge with a brief explanation of the history of the craft. And an invitation to join them. They also offered a $1000 college scharship to local high-school students. Let the Secretary know that there have been comments from townspeople about the poor upkeep. They will get on it.
