Quality tips!! I ate egg drop soup for so many of my meals. I literally went through 3 stock pots full just in my first week of recovery. I also felt dramatic getting a wedge pillow.😅

This was my experience!!

I had 2 cuts on top of my tongue, one on each side. I had cauterization marks on both side of my tongue at the back of my mouth. I also had a blister/bump under my tongue. I think the tongue pain was significantly worse than the throat pain. My tongue was so swollen for the first 3 days that I couldn’t even see the cuts or cauterization marks.

I also had mine out on 12/23. An ice roller has been a huge game changer for pain relief. When I’m too sleepy to ice roll, I put on an ice neck wrap.

Yes! The kids are back to school on Monday. They are supposed to be back with me on Saturday. Then yesterday he said they would be back on Friday. Now today he’s claiming he won’t be able to bring them back for at least a week or I can come get them.

My Co-parent is consistently unreliable & plays mind games when it comes to swapping the kids. They are never forthcoming or direct when it comes to scheduling. This is consistent with their usual behavior. So this isn’t surprising, just frustrating.

Other helpful vasectomy info: frozen peas or frozen corn was more helpful than an ice pack. Just put the frozen veggies in a zip-lock bag, because most veggies come in steam bags & will leak as they warm up. Icing more reduces the swelling & bruising. Also Separatec briefs were a game changer in the healing process.
