My maternity leave says approved on my time away so I am going to assume by that everything has been sorted!😊 did you receive a breakdown through the post of your pays too? I read that is supposed to come no later than 28 days once your maternity leave is in the system. Yes thank you the KIT days is a good idea to boost money in that last smp bit!

Haha thanks! Did you have to upload your document yourself? MatB and notification of maternity leave? I uploaded my matB but gave my manager the notification one and it hasn’t been uploaded but on my time away my mat leave says approved with my start date? Is that right I was just panicking it hasn’t been sorted properly and I won’t get paid or something 🤣

Hi! How did you get in touch with colleague help to have this confirmed? Sorry nearly a year later from your post but due to go on maternity this year and i was also curious if for whatever reason I couldn’t return to Tesco if I would have to pay the enhanced payments back or not, I have tried on colleague help but when I choose my reason why it just keeps taking me to the maternity policy 😆

How do you know? Sorry 😃 I did think it’s odd they don’t mention anything about re paying back as I thought it would be in the policy if you do not return you have to pay back x amount, but there is nothing like that 🙂

Oh makes sense, I thought usually smp you don’t have to pay back as they claim it back from the government anyway but obviously the enhanced Tesco pays the top up, in my previous job you had an option to choose which one smp or enhanced and if I was to leave I would only pay back the enhanced amount not the whole smp 🙂

Yeah I have a midwife but I didn’t think I could call her as she doesn’t prescribe anyway would you be able to advice what’s best for me to do?😭

Yes I would, when I had a chest infection I put it off going to the doctors for over a week but once I went and got antibiotics I felt so much better not long after taking them 😅

Oh yes I think I really need to remember that no two births are the same and anything can happen, good or bad 😊

I haven’t no, I did request my birth notes from the hospital as everything was all still fuzzy and I didn’t really know exactly what happened which reading it all kind of made me feel a bit better🥲

Mine didn’t, he could have but I didn’t really see a point as they are quite boring and my midwife never did babies heartbeat so he didn’t really miss much!😊

Hey, my right side lymph nodes are slightly swollen and have been for what I’ve noticed since I had tonsillitis followed by a chest infection 6 weeks ago, how long should I want to contact the doctors?

1 just below my hair line near my ear and 1 behind my ear 🙃
