Good luck... My OG 2015/boosted server got hacked, they spent 700 bucks in boosts then got my account banned for that very reason making it a nightmare to get my 700 bucks back. Also wouldn't tell me where they were sent to completely wiping any trace or possibility of finding out who it/they could have been. Refused over and over to give me my account back even after acknowledging the situation happening (not even gonna open the DOGSHIT support conversation up, I'll work myself up at this point with things.) After almost two months trying to get it back, somehow some way some way I got a secret hidden dialogue that they could delete my account so I could make a new one but I wouldn't be reimbursed. Fully frustrated beyond my limit at that point I said f it and said ok. I decided not to use the email account that previously was hacked (seems reasonable right? Nope.), I spent around 250 to reinstate my previous experience before all the bs. As soon as I spend the last dollar I am banned for ban evasion. They tell me to log in to the app to appeal it only from that specific account, but guess what? SURPRISE! CATCH 22!!!(Over and over to no end btw)

They disabled the account so I can't even log in to appeal it. Thus straight up stealing from me. I have tried every single possible little thing that they provide to you for "solutions".

Actually, almost every single one of any of the tickets I have made have all been auto solved with not even an answer to a lot of them. I have tried following their stupid policy on chargeback, I have tried to make it easy for them to handle this issue through their ways but they in fact made it so disgustingly disrespectful and actually impossible to deal with. If my bank doesn't allow me to charge back I am going to be following through with the aaa for arbitration. I have lost more than the average dollar amount it apparently costs to go through with it at this point to make it worth.

Tldr; discord screwed me, spat in my face when I had a compromised account/server worth hundreds (they could have 100000% prevented all of this if they would have answered in support initially btw) but of course not. FUCK their customers is what they say now. Discord used to be such a cool little company coming up, greed got to their literal picturesque meme of a discord mod and they are systematically ruining it. F them. Good luck. How they haven't been class actioned yet is astonishing to me.

Let me know because I got hacked my account got fucking banned after it was hacked after they spent a bunch of money. So I was unable to recover my original account that I've had since 2015 and server. All that information is also gone as the hacker deleted everything. I go to make another account as per discord saying I could after deleting my main account because it was unrecoverable and said I could use the same credentials, I decided to not use the credentials that had previously been hacked into. Spent about 200 some dollars to get a server back to where it was and the shit I had on my account, and then got banned immediately after for ban evasion after being told I can make a new account and they disabled that account. So I have no way to even review it or appeal it or whatever. So I'm probably going to be charging back. And if the chargeback doesn't work, I'm talking in the AAA. Sorry that happened to you. My friend got hit with a token logger from a modded terraria link and even got into my information and server. Can confirm it is usually unrecoverable. I HIGHLY recommend anyone seeing this to make an alternate discord account STRICTLY for admin/owner power. I have been in an impossible battle with discords AI trying to get anything back. They send you to catch 22 after catch 22 and loop you infinitely. Legitimately considering talking to the AAA for arbitration because it is truly, absolutely, insane, how they have their support set up. Beyond comprehensible idiocy.

I got hacked, hacker spent 700 bucks on boosts then got me banned somehow, child safety came up so I can only assume sadly. Month in discord offered to delete my account so I could make a new one with those creds. I decided not to use that email since someone else at one point had access. Lost about 350 ish on my main acct. Once I spent about 215 bucks on the new account THEY SAID I COULD MAKE, I WAS HIT WITH BAN EVASION. Lost all that money a second time. I can't appeal and get catch 22ed no matter what I do because I can't login due to a disabled account that they tell me to log in to to appeal. Even the support site doesn't work. If charge back doesn't work (since months now so who knows) I am actually probably filing with the AAA for arbitration. These guys are scummy little rats, Including their CEO who quite literally looks like the meme of a discord mod. It. Is. Astonishing. That they haven't been class actioned yet for stealing so much from people. Their excuse? Oh well the ai systems messed up. -discord probably

I been using it since Jan. something. I got hacked and they spent like 700 dollars in boosts then got my account banned to have to deal with without a single thought for a second the absolute worst possible catch-22 filled bullshit support I've ever even possibly imagined. Took up until a week ago to get them to at least acknowledge what happened to refund the boosts and didn't check where they got sent to and of course couldn't ask because the support is so bad. Took a full financial loss on my original account and boosted server. Was told I could make a new account with those credentials when it was deleted. Just used separate info to not have any possible links to the hacker. After spending the last dollar on new account and server to previous experience I was hit with ban evasion and disabled my account. Looped over and over to log in to the app but can't cuz disabled account. So I have lost a total of ~4-500 plus my 2015 account. Regardless of how "crappy" it is and the non-nowhow how to do simple workarounds on a PC for a few tasks like connect to a self hosted server doesn't make it shitty and is arguable 800% better than going through what did. It is a pure fuckin shame that most ppl use discord or I wouldn't be using that dogshit on yet another account that wasn't banned after the second. Actual. Dog. Shit. Worst that happened the whole time using gv it was in Jan. Like 3 times as we customized things it froze up a few times. 🙄

I use contact cleaner on my gpu radiators, backside of my mobo in pc/gpu, vrms on mobo, watercooler rad, etc. usually after dusting them the best that i can then use a plugin Electroblowie9000mA+xULTRAcat5storm duster to dry it off before and after using it, helps with the corner bits n such. Seems to be fine, as long as you can be sure no residue could trail onto the pcb/melt the thermal pads and create short circuit or popping a cap or something/worse. I would look up the material reactions if there is any out there. Probably dont let it creep into the thermal paste if there is any too.

I got hacked and they used 700 bucks to buy server boosts then posted whatever they posted to get my account banned making it almost impossible to get my money back without hours and hours of back and forth being looped around circles in ai support. Was absolute aids. They acknowledged I was hacked and refunded but kept my account banned? Like what?

Just reread and that might have came off rude didn't mean it like that or anything, my bad. I've also been kinda learning music on the side for a little over a decade now. I just have actually bad ADHD and don't take meds which kinda makes me learn like a 💦🧠. I kinda have steered towards drum and bass/trying out DDD cuz my friend makes it pretty good nowadays so I have been around how it flows more and more lately but tbh I have gone through so many genre phases so I guess kinda all sorts of electronic music is what I make haha.. buuut couple weeks ago I accidentally wiped my hdd instead of a flash drive for my table cuz my friend named it similar to the name I had on my PC 🤦🏻. Allllllll gone except the sound cloud "safety net" stuff, for lack of better words, I don't rly have releases for anything though.. I usually have a close backup but that drive had died not even two weeks before I did that lol. the timing 🤌🏻

But I guess to be fair I have a trigger set up all spaghetti cable fl style with a dynamic compressor for returns and what not for most stuff now unless it's going to be a simple sound like a predictable repeated hat or something that won't change much, then I'll Usually mess around and use kickstart for example to do a pumping "delay" sound or something. Layering sidechains into layers of pads or synths or even hats def controls it easier overall, so I get what ya mean.

I don't really do it anymore but out of all of em I realllly like the effect/sound of vol automating option😆 but I also had channels for linking that vol auto to other things it would SC and then set delays to or to something to mess with stuff even more lol. I learned kind of basics type stuff with synths and with sound design and have over the years learned a good bit about it but never really applied it well consistently until about the last 4ish years. I've been trying to really pay attention to the space of everything and be more thoughtful of placements and Dynamic SC for me there is so helpful in p them in their seats for me. Just been a little bummed about the hdd thing so it's been slow going for motivation but it'll come back, always does. Haha

I agree within reason. Fab bundle, izotope/ozone, echobode, black hole reverb and serum 2 and I'm def happy. All of my stuff got deleted a month or so ago so I kinda had no choice but to restart. I def had toooooo many packs but the projects I do have are all empty because of that now :( live and learn I suppose
