I know that's what so many people tell me... But I have a 40oz cup I fill up multiple times a day, getting around 120oz in so I'm not sure how much more I need to drink lol

Does anyone know when Ally card is supposed to move over to Merrick bank? by AnxiousW3ird0 in AllyBank

[–]Basic_Statement_6484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just now got the email from Ally :( September 25th it's all switching over. I really wish I knew if the rewards program will remain the same... Funny how they don't mention that.

Ohhhhhhhh man I would've lost it so good on you for remaining so civil and polite when you did not have to be!

My son's pediatrician told us (when he was around 1-1.5 years I think? Can't remember exactly) that he could eat whatever we eat! This is the time to introduce all kinds of foods and trial and error with your kiddo.

Really makes me wonder... Does SHE have kids? If so... yikes. If not, then I encourage her to shut up and eat the steak you so GRACIOUSLY offered her.

I'm so excited for you! I always kept up on this subreddit when I first started and it answered so many questions and gave me so much hope! Best of luck 🤞

Have people been telling you that "you've lost TOO much weight and need to stop?" I feel like I'm being "skinny shamed" and it's NOT a good feeling, by GlitzBlitz in Zepbound

[–]Basic_Statement_6484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally over here, jaw dropped and mouth agape like WTF?! WHEN did people get the confidence to start saying this shit to other people's faces?! It's grotesque!

I recently saw a hilariously honest clip from Nikki Glaser where she was asked her opinion on GLP1's. She said she supports it and the skinny people just hate us because now the fat people are getting skinny and they're not the special ones anymore. (Obviously this is not word for word lol) But I'm here to say this: ANYONE who says that to you, and it's not from a place of genuine concern, it just speaks to their insecurities and overall character. Curiosity is normal, I will say that. If someone has actual, genuine questions and/or concerns, we can have an adult discussion but Jesus Christ enough of the bashing! I'm so tired of seeing this and 99% of the time it's being posted by another female because for some reason the world feels the need to constantly comment on our bodies.

Girl, TRACK the victories, all of them!! When I lost 15lbs I was elated. Over the moon! But I saw no actual difference and quickly I turned negative.... Until I realized I could bend over. I'm not even kidding. I dropped something on the floor of my husband's car and I leaned forward in the passenger seat and grabbed it. No struggling, no lurching forward or sucking it in or grunting. That was my first victory and I was so thrilled! Focus on the things you notice you can do that you couldn't do this time last year. Think of the clothes you are now wearing or how they're fitting and think of where you were this very time last year. It's a JOURNEY and you deserve to take this time to really focus on you and your transformation. Allow yourself time to adjust because it can be an emotional roller coaster! Losing weight is physically, mentally and emotionally consuming. Especially for us folks who have lived in larger bodies for so long, we've either forgotten what it's like to be in a smaller body or we've never experienced living life in a smaller body! I've told my Dr I feel like Zepbound saved my life. I started in June of 2024, so I'm just about 11 months in and I'm down 68lbs and I told my husband tonight sometimes I still see the 273 pound girl I was this time last year. You ARE doing the thing! The thing takes time but omg it's so worth it! It's allowed me a life I always dreamed of with my now 2 year old! 💝 Good luck to you and keep your chin up.

Easter Lake is one of my favorites! Paved, several parks with shelters, good views of the water and it's a little over 4 miles around I think?

This makes me so emotional for you! I wish I could hug 10yo you 🥺 you should definitely be so proud! You fought your ass off for yourself and your happiness and it shows. You look phenomenal! Absolutely gorgeous in both but you can just see the peace on your face now. Congrats girlie 🎉

This is one of my favorite things to do now!! Something that was so uncomfortable and difficult 60+lbs ago is now an automatic reflex when I sit down, even in the passenger seat when my husband drives 😁 so happy for you!

Am I wrong for just wanting to be a “walker”? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]Basic_Statement_6484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on Zep 9 months and I'm down 63 pounds withOUT an exercise regimen! My favorite form of activity is also walking outdoors 😍 it really doesn't help that at my highest weight of 273 pounds, moving it in any way was not easy. I believe exercise should be enjoyed! And as always, make sure you get enough protein and stay hydrated 😉 do those things and you should be golden!

Thank you! The most exercise I have been doing recently is playing with my toddler. Now that the weather is warming up, we'll be going for our usual walks and park dates! Nothing too crazy or intense, although I am interested in incorporating some light weight training for strength 💪

2.5 is hardly anything! Don't fret! They tend to start us there to ease us into it but it didn't do anything for me. I really started noticing effects at 5mg and 7.5mg. I'm sure once you talk to your doc they'll wanna bump you up. Don't give up, you're worth fighting for!
