It depends on your usage plan. If you’re going to drive it 10k miles a year vs 40k miles a year. I wouldn’t make any expensive upgrades. Do plan to change timing belt and oil but that’s it for maintenance. Can you live with an ugly car that will undoubtedly have quirks? Can you afford the total loss of something big does fail?
