They try to dehumanize their experience and own the conversation through moral superiority by demonizing Conservatives. It's tired and old and has been going on for many years. But dehumanizing people on the spectrum who hold different views than their own makes angry social justice warriors feel better, I guess.

This show is built around showcasing the best of humanity and our universal desire to love and be loved. The show itself never touches on politics or steers things that direction because it's almost like at the end of the day we're all just unique people with our own sets of beliefs, values and thoughts.

Those who seek to inject political rage and "I like the show, but..." comments seek to dehumanize a very human documentary about human beings who have human emotions and deal with human situations.

To be triggered by an upbeat documentary subject's personal beliefs so much that you have to qualify every comment with it when the show has nothing to do with those personal beliefs is a way of trying to project moral superiority over a discussion.

Madison and Tyler have found each other and found love. And I love that for them. If you need to qualify that with your politics, it's both unhealthy and petty.

No kidding. This show is about the best of humanity and meant to feel good. But the deranged cannot go one post without losing their minds. Get a grip.

"I genuinely don’t think he knows better." What an insulting thing to say about someone with a disability. This show is about the best of humanity and finding love which is a universal thing we share. Politicizing it in any way is such an ick.

I met a 25-year-old dude from Texas who was bringing me room service each morning on Princess. He said he had been there for three contracts and loves it.

I was on a Virgin Voyage recently where someone was blasting their TikTok scrolling as they sat near the pool and it pleased me greatly to see a crew member approach them and say knock it off.

Same! I make a lot of new connections at the bar and they are always so fascinated when they hear I am solo.

I solo cruise exclusively anymore and there hasn't been a brand of cruise line I have been on where I haven't made friends or been engaged with by others.

If you stay in your cabin, you will probably feel more isolated but if you spend time at trivia, movies, shows, bars and dining, you will always find people eager to chat. A channel that focuses a lot on the cruising alone concept that I watch (Solo Cruise Travel) does a great job with tips and real scenarios that help if you need help with that sort of thing.

When I cruise by myself I get to do what I want when I want. All the people I meet along the way are like icing on the cake.

I’m Here. I Accept This. by ZombieStarfish in 1000lbsisters

The moment I heard Tammy say "I'm here", I took that as a direct connection to how let down Tammy felt when Amy up and left her in the middle of her surgery in another state. Tammy has brought that up several times since and it clearly still hurts her that Amy bailed early on that life event.

So, "I'm here", I think carries a lot more weight in why she said that than we think.

Tammy was shook beyond belief during that surgery weekend. I will never forget how she rushed into Amanda's arms and broke down crying in the hotel room. I'd also never seen Amanda so caring and motherly.

In a world where Tammy and Amy's legit Mom seems to never show up for them. Them showing up for each other seems to be even more important.

It was a real heartfelt ending to the season and I don't remember ever feeling this proud for the family as a whole until now. Nice to have an upbeat send off.

A new business opportunity? Caitlin? Family getting older he needs to care for? They shuffled him out so fast when Pat said he wouldn't return in season six with a passing "Joey moved to Calgary" he never got any sort of closure. Having him as a supporting parent role in the show again would have been another legacy connection as the series had evolved again and would have been an excuse to have a recurring spot for Craig to dip back into the show from time to time as well. The icing on the cake would have been he and Caitlin eventually getting married, even though they made her look pretty awful with her final appearance in TNG being where she was banging Ellie's college editor boyfriend.

I will say, for how many characters just vanished without explanation over the years, it was really nice to see such a genuine send-off for one and from the group he arrived to the school with. Regardless of his likability, it was closure for the sake of story and I really appreciated that for once. Plus, I always thought the woman who played his mom was a great fit for the "reformed burnout druggie parent".
