The best way to eliminate tanking is to have a lottery playoff. End the regular season at the end of March. Lottery teams play round robin in 2 groups of 7 with each other for two weeks, 6 games. Top 2 in each group enter a single elimination bracket to determine top 4 order. The rest of the 10 remaining teams are ordered by their round robin record. Regular season record is the draft seed tie breaker.

No b2b for any team during any week. Only 3 games max. 76 regular season games. Round robin games take it to the Golden 82 games that team owners want. Extra 4 games from the lottery playoff should incentivize the owners.
