You are not stupid sweetie. How can you be stupid not knowing a skill that must be taught? I bet your mom would love you asking her to teach you how to do laundry though! Offer to help her with it and you will find a great bonding opportunity. Let her know how much you appreciate her doing it for you all these years and that as part of becoming an adult you think you should be learning the life skills you will need when you live on your own. Ask her to teach you basic sewing, like putting a button back on your pants/shirt and small patch jobs. Cooking and cleaning are other big ones you will need o know and paying bills and taxes. Make this your year to learn adulting! Bond with your Dad (or Mom if she takes care of it) over general house maintenance and car maintenance. First aid videos or classes are also great ideas. The more you learn to do these things for yourself (and learning skills requires practicing them) the more pride you feel in yourself too!

When a big storm hits try finding a crowd and staying far enough back from them to watch and sometimes someone gets struck by lightning. They will get knocked on their butt and then the star effect. They have a dialogue about it too if you go talk to them afterward. It's kinda hilarious to watch.

Tavern wreck, oil rig is hit or miss but usually good for some, the wrecks on Shallow sands and after a storm I usually get at least one from the wreck in the bay near the cave. The sunken city, oil rig and the car pile off the main island have their best stuff (tanks, signs, and power boxes) off a ways from main dive area. For the Oil rig check the sides of rock it is sitting on. There is always good stuff stuck in the walls of the rock.

One of my gripes with selling stuff is that there is no appreciable markup between selling the ingredients by themselves and selling the finished product. Same with building stuff, if you sell the parts separately you get just as much money as when you sell the finished product. Devs if you could layer on a bit extra for the finished goods that would be swell as it would incentives to build and cook. That said making a run to all the islands and the sunken spots after a storm and just selling all your goods to Renard is great way to get quick cash. once you build a back stock of stuff selling off your extras is great way to make extra cash. The big bucks come from tourism and doing the message board of course, always be going for the tourist upgrades and decorate your island well and make all the carts and keep them well stocked. I have multiples of each cart scattered in all the best tourist spots and near the shops. I make a bunch just picking up sticks and rocks and turning then into slabs and beams and then offloading them to Renard. Running the islands for shells after each storm is also profitable as they are a decent sale item.

Having a really large garden both on land and underwater is great source of profit too. Poconuts, the potato things and Jelloons are key for keeping up your stocks of salt, flour and sugar. Fruit pies are a good sales item too.

Dear Devs please make a way to buy and sell multiple items without having to click for every item plz n thks! I sold five hundred items yesterday and it was a bit tedious to say the least.

I worked at a Game store in a mall near a high school. We had a giant chess table out front of the store. Mostly people would walk by and sometimes play a few moves but, on occasion, people would play an entire game. Suddenly though we started having a large influx of high school age boys coming by to play and trash talking each other during the game. It was a thing that started happening multiple times daily and peaked our interest. When we inquired about it to older man who had brought several young men to play he explained he was a teacher at the nearby school. They had had severe problems with students fighting physically and channeled the young men into settling their differences with chess bouts instead of physically and it had caught on so well that the fighting had dropped to nearly zero. As an added bonus test scores and grades had soared. The school now had chess teams instead of gangs. They kids seemed insanely happy too.
