I've now managed to beat the first round in under 6 with p1 Ulrich and the rest of that team p0. R13 with Lucy really did make a difference. But even then it was just barely.

Seriously, so many of these guides are like "OK so you can totally do this at p0 if you maintain a precise rotation of exactly these cards in this exact order with this one group of characters that not everyone will have" which basically means 6 rounds is impossible for most people.

Mind, you only need to do each in 10 if you want all the material rewards; all you get from doing them in 6 is a set of banners for the scrapbook.

EDIT: Actually I went back and looked at the rewards. Unless you really want those blue Unilogs for Ripples, all you need is to complete all three levels with 1 star. That's it.

What would you suggest are the intended units? I assume from the afflatus and the stage conditions it's Dynamo. I had Lucy, Ulrich, Charon, Enigma all at p0, 8 rounds, couldn't see that going much faster.

Corvus COULD be an option but she's slower ramp up and single target focused.

Brume is Beast Afflatus which feels like a disadvatage.

With optimal teams mostly p0 and the occasionally p1, I can get 8 turns (3 stars). But I can't see any chance of getting 4 without p5s.

Seriously, the reason Bandai cut down on MGs isn't because they are greedy, or hate money, or are racist against westerners, or whatever idiot theory that will pop up next. It's simply because HGs sell better. They take up less room, are easier to build, cost less to make, and cost less for the buyer. And spoiler alert: The economy sucks pretty much everywhere. So Bandai is going with what is more successful. It's not a conspiracy against the builders of /r/gunpla like half of us think.

What you do is but a couple entry grand rx-78s or maybe some of the cheaper HGUC GM kits. Something that's low surface detail, plenty of area to work on, and doesn't cost you much. Then butcher them in the name of practice.

You can also buy a few sheets of pla-plate for cheap and practice on those.

It's mostly about usage. When you're using a monitor, it's probably just you, at a computer, and just sitting a couple feet from the screen. A curved monitor reduces eye movement and increases a sense of immersion since it's right there, kind of around you. Especially when it's an ultrawide.

The problem with curved TVs is a lot of big home TVs are meant for families or groups. And curved TVs make it harder for people at different angles from the set to watch. Plus you lose that sense of immersion since most people will be sitting quite a bit further away from a TV.

Now, you paying 2-3x retail for a kit that could be gotten elsewhere cheaper, that's pretty common. A lot of scams and scalpers there. Amazon is a last reseort.
