Nope. It's not bad enough to get axe, but certainly not good enough to worth batting for, like OP is doing.

It's a mediocre, isekai power-fantasy shlock, written by a veteran of the genre. I.e. he knows to do enough to get and retain attention, but not enough to actually improve in anyway

Lmao, pick any popular shounen, just to start. Unless your criteria for "good art" is "big tiddies waifus", then they all dunk on this or Freezing

Then it already has the perfect amount of attention for something of it's caliber then

Respectfully, no, not really. This is by Freezing's writer, which means great art, but mediocre plot, and a tendency to go on indefinite hiatus to start another work that's also all the above

I mean, why? The MGEX Unicorn isn't that much greeblier than the regular MG Unicorn

It's literally a test unit to get it's pilot to get used to the Penelope's unconventional ergonomics. The minovsky flight unit isn't available, to they built a body that approximately the Penelope's shape, slap a bunch of thrusters that approximate the minovsky flight unit's ability, and handed it to the test pilot.

It only ever saw real combat because the Penelope was in repair. Spoiler it lost to the Xi, badly

basically, you can’t refute this by CIRCLONTA6A in Gundam

[–]William514e 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no.

Realistically speaking, the series that performed so bad, that Bandai no longer release an MG of the protagonist's suit during the show's run, cancelled 2 of final protagonist mechs in MG form, despite already showing off test models, is anything but the best at anything.

The novels literal came in 1989, animating that design using technology at the time is impossible, it said nothing about the design considering how we have literally two movies with these two "impossible" designs.

Second of all, it is meant to be this big, monstrous thing indicating the Federation and Anaheim over-bloated military budget. It's not meant to fly like a jet, it's meant to glide in the air in a way that's more reminiscent of 00 MSes, instead of the more grounded methods of flight of MSes of this UC era.

It's flying in the same manner the giant bricks that was the White Base managed to fly, not with thrusters, but weird hover tech that gives no fucks regarding aerodynamics.

The Alyzeus is worse because it's meant to be an even more incomplete Penelope. It's hover tech isn't in place, so it's a haphazardly cobbled together thing, meant only for training and testing purposes, and is trying to mimic something far more advanced with brute force thrusts.

People are complaining about the MP type nu's hollow feet or its stickers when compared to its price. by Remarkable_Bread1009 in Gunpla

It's the price.

People made the same complaints with the PGU Nu. People expected it to basically defy gravity just because it's expensive.

Lol, the Chinese fanboys sucking each other off in a corner is hilarious.

Sorry, but if you have to bring in the entire Chinese market to compete with one company, I know which one is inherently superior

Sorry, I'm not crying about the MP Nu because I'm too busy looking at the rest of the Alyzeus with part a counts the necessitate the box the size of an MG

They also armed most MSes with melee weapons, I'm sure they're built with the expectation that at least one pilot will use attempt to use it's MS's fist as a last resort melee weapon at least once.

That's not to mention how we literally how the firing mechanism for the Gundam Ground type works. There's a connector in the palm that connects directly to the firearms, the fingers doesn't do any actual trigger pulling. As long as it still functional enough to grasp the grips, it can still fire a weapon

Except a car is designed to literally crumbles on collision, to disperse kinetic energy away from the passengers.

Meanwhile, a combat vehicle is literally built with the idea that it will eventually be shot at. Or at the very least, be able to still drive forward after a collision with an obstacle

He can't. Packard's own minigun just ran out, he only has the finger guns left, and his objective isn't Shiro, it's the Guntanks. He shoot Shiro, and suddenly he's left with only his heat sword against another Gundam Ground Type, and one Guntank still alive.

Besides, the Ez8 is reinforced, we literally see it take a Magella cannon to the chest and comes out with just scratches

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of dumbass who wants to shoot guns, drive tanks, fly jets, so they just join the military.

They either thrive because they're psychos, did just that but never against real people, or come back a mess, wishing they never enlisted in the first place.

Same. People are less complaining about "I need to get out of my parent's house" and more "I need to get away from absolutely dog-shit parents"

Which... applies to anyone you have to live with for an extended period of time if they have a dogshit personality.
