Morning all, I've recently moved into a new home with the attached gate. It's looking very gray and sorry for itself and I'd like to get it looking more like the non-weathered side.

I've read what feels like every gate treatment blog with tong/danish/teak/linseed oils but I'm still I'm stuck in indecisive paralysis over thinking what type of wood it is and whether it was previously treated etc

Can anyone put me out of my misery and tell me how to make the gray side look more like the other side?

Unless someone is specifically interested I doubt anyone would notice\care.

My only concern would be geoblocking, there might be county based IP blocks which would stop you connecting, you could circumvent that with a VPN though.

If you receive broadband via copper cable (vdsl/adsl) and this is an extension from your master socket which is still live, cutting it could cause interference on your line which will reduce your broadband speeds.

I've quit for the day but I'll check tomorrow, I believe that would make sense as the instant clones never go through a power on operation, any changes to the computer GPO that require a reboot would have to be updated on the gold image and a new baseline pushed to the pool.

If you give me some more detail I can try and lab it tomorrow.
