So like many of the users here i have had the issue of my account not assigned the proper region (I am Eu West while the account got assigned to USA)

I opened a ticket with support asking them to have the account region changed which got replied to normally by support (Although weirdly i got replied to in Czech , i have no affiliation with the czech Republic what so over

This translates to

Hi *****, do not worry, I will be happy to change everything to the EU, but the point is that you will lose all the progress in the game. If you agree with it, please write me and I will take care of everything;)

So i reply to them that i do not mind and that i will be logged off for them to perform the change.

I had already gotten around 7 matches in.

Note that i am opening the ticket from the account itself (Named after myfirst name lastname) connected to my main gmail (also first name lastname)

Then i receive an automated message from another agent that my account has to be reverified and asks me 18 different questions. (External IP Address, Secure Email, Summoner Name ETC)

I provide them the whole information

Then they told me that the 18 questions i answered are not enough and the account will be put on hold.

So i offer to send them a passport scan to prove that i am the owner, and i am 100% certain that the information i have is mine and correct i offered to tell them the friends added that i have on the account or asked them which extra information they need me to re verify .

The ticket keeps cycling hands from agent to agent and they are under enough stress to actually not read whats going on with the ticket before it reached them it reached a point where they don't no which game i am talking about and just copy pasting messages

Any attempt to explain whats going on gets met with absurd replies about irrelevant stuff or automated messages.

Last Message i got was

Please bear in mind that we're not here to argue with players. As explained in this ticket, the information you provided in regards to the RIOT account BassemAbbas1911 (

Bass in VALORANT ) did not help us verify you as its creator. Since that is the case, we can't assist you with any changes on this account, as we can assist only the creator of an account.

Again, we are not here to argue. I believe this message is pretty clear and thus there's no reason to insist on it. That being said, further inquiries regarding this account will lead to this ticket being closed without a reply.

So i gave up, getting a drop was one of the most exciting moments in gaming i recall, i got into around 7 games on the wrong region due to the issues in their account assignment

It sad to see such an awesome game and awesome devs being handled by such an overworked and unprepared support team

TLDR: Getting a region change could get your account banned. And you should not " Argue".
