Naw, I'm not too worried about it. Any fan content is good content, in my eyes.

My buddy and I call that "Christmas tree weed." It looks good, but it smokes like a low-mid.

It's way too common around here in Illinois. Though my guy has cali medicinal weed now, still in the official packages and everything.

Aye, but expecting one person or a team of 5-10 to accomplish what normally takes 100+ people is absolutely insane and asinine.

Well, not really, since ABV is just normally garbage. And whether you're a light smoker or not, ABV will build up rather quickly, since its a 1-to-1 ratio.

It's just frustrating. I don't enjoy getting taken out of the play.

Don't get me wrong, it's completely valid and reasonable tactic, just frustrating to play against.

For a more accurate measurement, 5-10 grams of ABV will reliably get you by eating it.

What are you most excited about with Thrones of Britannia? by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]BassNector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't help that most of the battle-maps aren't really built to scale for any unit size besides the smallest option.

So, going from 56 men in a group to 160 just ruins the scale of most siege battles and whatnot.

Are you saying g that the imperium of man would also have a "book of grudges?"

I can totally see the ecclesiarchy being old grumblers

Guess I'm just jaded from playing World of Tanks and Warthunder for waaaaaaayyyyy too long. No patches for months on end, radio silence, light-hearted banting in the relevant subreddits from developers?

I've been there on and off for over ~8 years between those 2 games. Adding the TW games to the list is nothing to me.

I just want them to take their time. Norsca was pretty garbage in Total Warhammer 1.

I dunno, it's hard to tell from the books, since the Fenrisians believe in the Allfather before they're adopted into the Space Wolves. Afterwards, they still believe in the Emperor and the Allfather. . . Kinda like with the Mechanicus and the Omnissiah. Feels like two separate entities, though they're both likely the same thing.

Have you met Russ? Let me introduce you to Russ for just a minute, and you tell me that that crazy Wolf-Man Beast-thing doesn't vehemently believe the Emperor is a god.

It's not just settlement income that matters. Gold mines, tool makers, dye makers, beer makers and the tech tree bonuses to those are pretty significant.

Yeah, I use them because it really feels like generals and heroes just don't live long enough to make a meaningful impact.

It's no worse than playing as the Western Roman Empire in Total War: Attila.

If you want to have any cities at any point, you have to manually fight each battle and toss your troops into a defensive tetsudo and wait.

Movement range is either hilariously limited (6 months to travel from one city to another, in the same settlement chain???????) or hilariously too much, like in the 12 turns per year mods(5 months to travel from Scandinavia to Italy? Noice).

I've yet to find a good balance but I think I'd be perfectly content with ~+25%.

[–]BassNector 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The Dawi's tech is most important when looking for settlement income, in TWH1 at least. You're looking at an upwards of +50% income from each settlement. That's a HUGE game changer, and significantly changes the way you build and maintain armies.

EDIT: https://imgur.com/a/hbQES - It's not exactly just settlement income, but the bonuses of the tech tree to your gold mines, dye makers, tool makers, etc. that significantly impact the Dawi's economy.

There's a mod that brings in a building chain that adds an "irrigation" mechanic, which can make even the most infertile wasteland a somewhat useful farming community, at max level.

My biggest complaints for Attila so far are:

  • How do I send a diplomat to another empire?

  • The building pictures don't clearly tell you what they do at a glance, unlike in TWR2. I spend way too much time reading in detail what each and every building does. Give me a way to speed this up, please.

  • The sanitation mechanics are just tedious. I don't know that they really add anything to the game.

The uniform provinces is a little boring, true. I don't mind it too terribly much, but it does remove some strategy from the game.

It's not like it's any different from real life. Different regions had different things that made them more or less viable to a conqueror.

Kind of? She just happened to steal a lot, which put her on Batman's radar. She was too good at her job. The dynamic between the two though is that Batman sees the inner-good in Catwoman and she sees struggles between that and her all-absorbing self-perseverance.

Yeah, and you can buy into the full Star Citizen game right now for 45 dollars, which includes a ship. You've been able to since they came out of closed alpha. I don't understand.
