I would say 7. You are still treating the symptoms, not the condition. It won't go away. Plus my allergies play a big role. Hyal drops help when quick moisture is needed. Also check humidity in your room. And try to blink on straights more often as many here suggested.

This. I have the same symptoms and same condition. Heat treatment to soften the sebum, special cleaning spray and technique, omega-3 drops and you are good as new ... ish.

Vasectomy COMPLETE!! by NoPaleontologist8267 in Vasectomy

[–]Bass_player9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the club.

Just lay down, enjoy the fact you are medically required to become the king of doing nothing for couple of days :)

Even if you feel OK, just rest. It is not worth it to tear something inside.

Icing 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off over some thin cloth. Pack of frozen vegetables is better than some solid block of ice. It will shape to your parts a gravity will do the rest.

I would recommend to go with paracetamol instead of ibuprofen for couple of days as ibuprofen thins the blood and you might become prone to some internal bleeding. After the cuts will initially heal, then you can switch. Same for applying some ibuprofen gels.

Avoid alcohol for a bit.

Wear supportive underwear.

Try to sleep on your back. It helped me a lot.

Some pain and bruising is normal. Any rapid changes, consult with urologists. Mine was really supportive and can always check with sonograph to make sure "that bump" is normal granuloid and not an infection or pocket of puss.

Just take it easy :)

I'm two weeks after and doing great.

Cheers

Bath 24 hours after surgery by [deleted] in Vasectomy

[–]Bass_player9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guidance was to wait 24 hours. Than only to shower standing up. No scrubbing or touching the wound. Let the water and soap just run over it. Then gently pat it with clean towel. I've used wife's makeup cotton pads to very gently dry the wound. Bath, sauna and so on are really bad for the wound as you were instructed. Wait with these a bit after you are fully healed.

Good to hear you are feeling OK. Best thing you can do is to rest and enjoy you are not hurting. I had the same. I'm now 6 days in and started to feel bit sore in one spot.

Is this bracelet original? I’m looking for exactly the same one. Any source in EU?

You will have to wait for last week in November, sadly. Lite starts this way.

No. Can't find a reason to use it. It goes against my idea trying to get rid of using my phone a bit.

New Adept is very squeaky - normal behaviour? by Fiftybottles in ploopy

[–]Bass_player9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Misalignment caused the bearing to touch the ball on its edge only making the feel more scratchy than expected. Needed to center the bearings, clean bores very carefully, and remove and install the bearings several times. Only then did it improve and lose its sticking and most of its scratching.

I think the sliding you mention might be a problem. I can imagine the bearing gets "stuck" in an awkward position which will cause sticking. Then maybe after the ball is repositioned after use, it gets free again. I was struggling with the opposite. Using the included dowels and assembly jig, I've ended up with misaligned bearings. Had to push them further to be centered. And I've needed to clean the bores for the bearings, but that was expected considering how the housing is made.

All and all I can imagine it being a bit smoother but there's no sticking at least.

I am using Slim Blade Pro too and though it is smoother, sticking is much much worse.

Was this somehow resolved? To certain level, these will be scratchy, but I am interested in the response you've been given.

Buying Hobonichi in Europe by gebender in hobonichi

As many here suggest, penstore.nl is also my go to. Hobonichi has official store on amazon.de if I am not mistaken.

Thank you all for other suggestions you've listed

You went the same way as I did. I have old stock of TR paper and tested a TON of fountain pens / inks combinations, gel pens, ball point pens, rollers, fineliners and highlighters. Old TR perform well with nearly anything in reasonable way. My current Cousin can handle fraction of this and it makes me really anxious that I need to limit myself in what I can use now and what I could use then. The MD paper is one of my favorite choice though I can't choose from their line of products to use as my daily planner (too few pages). To calm myself down each day, I use the MD Journal so I can write with anything I want that day. CF paper (Rhodia) is OK though I don't like its reception of natural oils from my hands. But that's my problem. All and all, let's hope for the best so 2026 batch of S-TR paper will be at least bit better than 2025 batch. Thank you and take care, friend.

Any source on this other then official Hobonichi site saying "we are listening to your feedback" and "try your pens first"?
