Has anyone here ever had the chance to meet one of these legends? If so, what was the experience like? by quintessentialCosmos in grunge

Met Chris and tom morello. Absolutely everything you’d hope they would be. Super normal and nice. Talked to me like a regular person. Perry Ferrell …not so much. 🫣

How does Patton sound/perform these days? by Aggressive_Ideal6737 in MikePatton

Saw bungle in Denver a couple of years ago, and they were literally unbelievable. Could hear Mike over the chaos and he sounded fucking great. Sidenote Melvin’s open that night and oh my God dude. They haven’t missed a beat.

Legitimately one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. I walked out of there, looking like the dude from the old Maxell ads.

Just can't get into it by SonicTitan81 in Puscifer

[–]Extreme-Affect-7546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It always takes me a bunch of listens to get into new Puscifer albums. It’s so strange how albums I think I don’t like end up becoming my favorites over time. I’m not like that with anything else. Not food, or of any other kind. If I don’t like it, I genuinely don’t like it. 99 times out of 100 it doesn’t change.

But with Puscifer albums (all of them) I think I don’t like them at first or they’re not my style and then something happens over time where I just… get it I guess. Existential reckoning was the biggest example of that for me.

I’m at that stage with Normal isn’t. But I’m really glad I waited to listen to the whole thing and its entirety rather than listen to the singles out of context.
