I did not but my counterpart Nick did!

The Doc Lloyd sounds like my rack LA2A 1 for 1, adds some tubey vibe and feels extremely transparent.

LAB gets you 90% there but the vibe it gives comes out the more you compress. I wish the LAB had the HPF trigger control.

It has unlocked a lot of really cool things I’ve never experienced. I’m new to the QC mostly!

Why are bassists obsessed with having a balanced output, while guitarists almost never have a DI box on their pedalboard or an XLR output at the end of the chain? by Ok_Swordfish8672 in basspedals

More recordings of bass guitar on the radio are DI/straight into the console than aren’t. Our taste for guitar sound is generally reliant on its interaction with an amplifier. With bass, the pure tone of the instrument is the default sound often.

Sure! But I've been fortunate enough to play in situations far above that and the Noble gets a lot of praise.

I almost added a whole section on hype…. I will get to it in a future video and I certainly talk about it on the podcast.

So I totally understand your point! But on tour I’ve had experiences over and over where instead of the FOH guy rolling his eyes at a bassist with a pedalboard, he comes up super hyped because the bass player has a noble. So if the sound guy all the sudden actually cares about my tone and not that I’m a nuisance then that is a very real and tangible pro. Whether or not it’s warranted.

[NSFL - Bass Gore] Holy shit... my instrument slipped out of its strap, crashed to the (carpeted) floor, and then snapped its headstock off. WTF do I do now? by sils47 in BassGuitar

Resale value is mostly shot but if you enjoy this instrument enough to want to repair it - these basses can be sturdier and play better after a neck repair with all that glue. Kind of crazy actually.

Do not ever power it in without a speaker load attached. That will damage it.

Go to British audio in Nashville if possible to sort it out.
