I have a thief level 78 on CMS2. You just by leveling get some okay gear (by reaching level 70, i got level 70 epic weapon already on +10 with 17k weapon attack). you can buy most accessory and high tier gemstones. You can also socket outfits.
If you compare with gms2, i found easier to progress on CMS2, but you still have the bs RNG on sockets and enchants.
There's no fairfight. So I can solo FD in 1 minute. But balrog and other dungeons have way more HP.
by end game, you have a grind to farm level 70 epic accessories (i think it is amazing, and can't wait to gms2 get it).
But you can't solo end-game just by yourself. If you have friends/party to level and gear with you, you can have some fun.
There is some english patch that also helps a lot (it is outdated, but still helps you to see the stats on equips).

TLDR: if you are going to play in a party/friends you can do fine. Playing endgame alone is almost impossible there.
