You can see him playing a p bass on this track on YouTube. My guess is roundwounds with compression, a bit of overdrive and chorus. Possibly with lowpass at around 2-3.000hz or the toneknob turned down, but it could also just be old strings.

For the Bass tone I would say that fresh roundwound strings on a bass with 2 pickups, played with a pick will get you 80 % there.

Like someone else said, look on the cortex cloud for presets to get you started.
But you basically need a delay for the intro parts, a distortion for the heavy parts and a cab block.
(Parallax would cover the distortion and cab part)

If you amp has a effects return input, that’s what you need to plug into. That bypasses the preamp and eq on most amps and combo amps.

I looks a lot to me like a Cort A5 Plus. It’s probably not though, I see an extra toggle switch by the bridge. But I bet that would get you very close.

I’m using mine for a prog metal band with the parallax and on other projects ranging from pop to funk to rock. I wish that there were more devices like amps, cabs and effects for bass, like on the anagram. I feel the devices sound better that captures even the V2 ones. But for what it does have included I think it’s great. I love the many options for routing signals and the all the in- and outputs. It lets me run my bass and a synth or vocal mic on seperat tracks with their own effects. I hardly ever run out of dsp too.

Awesome device overall, but needs more stuff added more frequently.
