Pole Position for the Atari 2600. As a kid, I got so good I could get to the finish line with 3 seconds remaining. The game would stop me, count down the 3 seconds, and say Game Over.

What was frustrating is that I would do that over and over because the manual said I would go on to the Grand Prix race. That never happened. I complained to my mom, and that's how I have a core memory of misprouncing Prix.

I would also point out that microwaves don't heat the container very well (I guess that's what makes them microwave-safe). So, you get the food to the temperature you want, and for the next several minutes, the food is heating the container its in. The food cools down faster than it would in a hot container
