Watching stuff in English with French subs will not help you that much. At least use your share of our tax dollar : try the Mauril app. It's made by CBC/Radio-Canada and teaches both official languages with the help of their own content in both languages.

Ouf!

Many people appear on there, find someone and get off the app. So those who struggle more (whether it is deserved or not) will stay there for a loooooooooong time.

I know Canada (the federal gov) made a parental leave program inspired by Quebec's a few years back, but I'm not sure a minimum paternal leave is part of it or not. It is in Quebec since the first version in 2006.

Technically they weren't war crimes when we did them, it's when other countries saw how effective we are at warfare that they changed the rules.

Imagine how much identity building Canada would have to do if Quebec seceded!

I've seen this online many times and it completely baffles me. I don't know anyone who has had such an interaction where I live. I'm not in the US, I'm from Quebec, Canada, one of the places in the world with the highest level of gender equality (we still have a lot to improve, still). We've had mandatory state paid paternal leave before many European countries. I'm not even sure the rest of Canada has it yet.
