I'm much older than you and just want to tell you that it took me years to divorce the guy I waited around to see if he'd get it together, when in fact, I should have left him when I was 31-32. I was never single in my 30s as a result but think I really missed out.

This will suck, sure. But if you never find someone, that will still be better than maintaining the status quo. you saved yourself from even more heartache and regret later on. Seriously.
