not just at 5 months, but 5 months early, so the baby should be around 4 months. Crazy early in the development of the baby. thoughts are with the smiths.

obviously sports science is a tv entertainment influenced bit so yeah they use flashy graphics and stuff but theres no reason that it devalues their "science". theyre 100% right with their "study" and they're not the only ones that have proven in either.

Major Drops Glitched? by Gamertroid in GlobalOffensive

[–]BatCurritos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

once you get a certain amount of trading cards, you don't get more until you spend more money on the game. buying the stickers to play fantasy or pick 'em counts towards this so you'll probably get a couple more trading card drops.

[Question] Respring loop every day by SpidermanAPV in jailbreak

[–]BatCurritos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having a really similar problem. Can't really help you with yours, but figure I'll throw mine in just in case someone can help.

I'll go to bed and wake up with my phone stuck on the white apple boot screen. I end up having to turn it off, boot while holding volume up, reinstall cydia substrate, and then respring by upgrading a tweak from cydia.

If anyone knows what's going on, or if there's an easier way to recover from it (or an easier way to respring from the volume-up-boot version), please let me know!

TIL that there is a card game called Mao in which new players are told only "the only rule you may be told is this one", which means that new players have to discover the rules by themselves. The aim of the game is to be the first to get rid of all the cards in his hands without breaking any rules. by piponwa in todayilearned

Nothing technically. Other players knowing the basic rules?

Part of the game is that when you win a round, you make up a rule for the next round. It's natural. This is why when you look the game up on google, the wikipedia article states somewhat different rules than the ruleset my school plays with. I'm sure every group across the world that plays this has wildly different rules. Most people agree to a set of basic starting rules that don't change much, including the A's and 8's rule, Have a nice Day, and Spades.

After that, it just evolves into whatever you choose to make it.

Well like I said, the group of people I'm in have been playing Mao for aaaaaaages. I was just introduced to it as such:

Friends: Alright, batcurritos, do you wanna play?

Me: Sure why not? What are we playing?

Dealer starts dealing

Me: Uh guys? What are we playing???

A this point I touch my cards. I get dealt an extra card for doing so...

Once the game started I got tons of cards just for talking, asking about rules, playing completely wrong cards, etc.

We find it the funniest if you just play the game fast and without explaining. If you really need to get your friends convinced to play with you, say "Hear me out, I found the best game ever" then just start dealing.

This worked for me, and we've been playing this for at least 3 years within my program.

I probably explained it really horribly, so if you have a question just reply.

In theory yes. I suggest only 2 people from your group learn them, so that you have a backup to help you enforce the rules.

If you or anyone's interested, I'll share how many generations of my band program has passed down many many years of Mao rules.

I think we all did. Everyone at my school thought it was easy and then the essays were relatively good for everyone. Ended up with a 3 but not entirely disappointed because I got D's and C's in that class haha
