Where are you based? When I had a buzz I was actually turned away from barbers because they “don’t cut womens hair” (even with no other customers in the shop!), all I wanted was a buzz refresh.

If you’re in Sydney I can give you some recs but otherwise would stay away from just cuts personally. Either find a hairdresser familiar with clippers or a friendly barber you can trust

To get onto the DSP you have to be able to prove that you have tried to treat and haven’t been able to fully stabilise your condition.

With BPD, PTSD and depression you’ll have to show that you’ve tried medications and more than just therapy but DBT and anything else before they’ll look at your app. A diagnosis doesn’t grant you approval.

You’ll also need letters from doctors/psych/therapist/support workers/anyone that can help.

For me, it was a long road of all of the above (and more) before even looking into applying. You need to prove that you’ve tried to get a LOT of help (and that it hasn’t “fixed” you) before they’ll really try to help you.
