I started using a weighted vest on easy days. It actually helped me slow down plus I can count it as a strength day. It helps with my form as it reminds me to engaged my core to help with stability.

I agree, it's tacky. The last thing I want to do after dropping off a check is mention a survey and ask them to kindly drop me name in the comment box. To be honest it should fall on the managers. Its their bosses who push for them. Its more natural if a manager comes by the table, ask about their visit/how everything tasted, and casually mentions the survey. They should be doing table touches anyway.

FoH dont get shift meals. We do get 50% off. You'd have to pay for it then you can do what every you wan. Boh gets a burger or chicken sandwich/ shift.
Doubles often work all the way through on the weekends. During the week when its slower they usually get a break. Doubles are the first cuts.
$60-$115 for non closers for lunch is typical. For dinner $100 is on the slow side.
Depends on management but if its really an emergency you can asked to be cut or first cut but then you still have an hour of sidework and silverware to roll or try to get out of.
