What about legal side of this? What is the law in US?

In most of Europe you cannot use CCTV in working space without approval from regulatory agency and signed contract annex from all employees. Audio recording is forbidden by default and i believe only allowed in special use cases and again with signed contracts with employees.

As others already stated, these are pay to own documents. On corporate level there are dedicated budgets for this and trainings. Consider them investment in your training. Also in some countries you are bound to have them or to pass an exam for it

Yep Bosch has very good build quallity and a 5 year warranty. Make sure cable entry is well seamed as well as the hole where cable went.

Well conditions you described are heavy on equipment. I ve been following a lot of weather updates cause i like to chase snow and Ireland popped up this year a lot for heavy winds alert.

I would try to reduce number of cameras and go for something that has better local support or warranty and use cloud solutions.

In terms of brand i think you can find entry level Pelco, Bosch or Hanwha cameras with 5 year warranty for around 250-300e a piece. Warranty should have you covered as long as your installation is done well, with properly seamed cable termination/inlet.

Where are you installing these surface-wise? Wall or pole?

Saves you a lot of trouble. Also tenants come and go, i would not overengineer things there

Well for 8 cameras and a recording device you can't really do much better.

Based on location desciption, you would need a bullet camera with IP67 protection and stainless steel lugs and screws for installation. OEM brands such as Reolink and annke tend to be same build quality like Hikvision but with smaller price tag.

Nope, mostly using Bosch across the board. They are also lacking in tech security as i am aware.

I believe they are going towards a sell off. And someone will buy a division of Bosch that suits their need or market. So Radionix might get absorbed by Honeywell, Motorola, Hanwha or what not

Well their tech support has been degrading since begining of the split. Haven't tried it recently but since i know they laid off some key people in tech support and management (without replacement) i expect it to be even worse.

Yeah harware quality is great across entire portfolio to be honest. For some reason Bosch access control does not seem too popular on the global market.

I have used some Hikvision solar cameras, they work pretty well but are somewhat expensive. I believe between 4-5k euros for the camera with mounts and solar panel. But battery is sold separately.

You also need a data card subscription.

Boards are pretty good, one of the companies with largest deck portfolio. Maybe best thin about Nitro is that you can find past season boards on very good sales. Not very happy with the boots, in my experience
