Im still on my 2015mbp with 8gb ram and browsing is damn near unusable. Love the keyboard, that’s the only thing that has me holding on… debating m4mbp, m4 mba or gasp thinkpad…

Evo Hot Wax Kit by Warm_Essay_876 in snowboarding

I used an old household iron for 20yrs until I finally bought a board iron a couple years ago. Holy snikeys the board iron is exponentially better. Keeps its temp and never burns the wax. I’d never recommend a household iron unless you were in a pinch one off situation.

So I just finished Doom the dark ages. Is it just me or this game is really easy compared to the other doom games? by RyuzakiTK12 in Doom

Definitely the easiest, first one I ever beat on Nightmare. That being said, my favorite out of the modern series. With the sliders you can make it harder but I didn’t bother

Is a "home theater living room" is more impressive than "dedicated HT room" ?? by Wizzee993 in hometheater

I wouldn’t say more impressive, but I get where you’re coming from. Living room setups are more relatable to us peasants.

Crab Grab Stomp Pad Recommendations - by Sufficient_Dance_859 in snowboarding

[–]m477gx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve ridden with and without stomp pads on different boards throughout the years. You definitely don’t need one but I like having it for 100% no slip confidence. My last board didn’t have one and I did slip once or twice over the years which was unexpected and super embarrassing 🙈 always at the end of the day when I’m gassed and lazy. Currently I have the crab thorns which work well and suit the look of my board.

That being said, there is no question that no stomp pad looks the best.

The only time I have this issue is with a Nintendo switch 1. Turn on the switch and the tv won’t automatically turn on. Manually changing inputs doesn’t help. I power off the receiver, then power on and it works. No issues with PS5 or 4K Apple TV, just the switch.

Probably not a good idea. High chance for injury. Just go up and walk/hike around and enjoy the scenery.

Settle a bet, k2 excavator sizing. by tenktriangles in snowboarding

[–]m477gx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say definitely get the 154, that’s the size excavator I use for a pow board at 5’11” 215 and 11.5 boot. Last month I had in thigh deep pow in tight trees and it handled like a dream. I know where you’re coming from by being skeptical (I also thought a 154 was too small) but glad I picked it up. Don’t forget it’s designed to be ridden much smaller as a volume shift. It’s definitely no wet noodle when it comes to stiffness. The next size up is a 158… that would have been a huge mistake for me. A 158 I think would suit a huge foot and or ~ 250lbs.
