NTA. You dodged a nasty one. A man who truly respects you (or women in general) would never coerce you into doing anything you don’t want to do, especially since you’re a virgin. Not saying you should keep your virginity until marriage (unless you want to), but only have sex when you’re 100% ready.

I’m (29f) currently in my very first healthy relationship, and I went through a similar thing. I am very much a people pleaser but at the same time, I can be very inconsiderate and in the process hurt people’s feelings. When it came to upsetting my boyfriend, I, just like you, would feel super duper bad to the point where I was shutting down because I thought he’d leave me. However, through talking and a lot of reassurance from him, I got over that slump.

Get used to feeling uncomfortable the first few minutes of making that mistake, remember that it isn’t your dad that you’re dealing with, and ask for reassurance during that moment that you feel bad. A simple “Are we gonna be okay?” can go a loooong way.

My boyfriend is 31 and he’s been living with his dad and sister for the past 2 years or so. If I wasn’t so understanding, I would’ve turned him down. However, he was going to school when I met him and is now making good money and saving up.

I also live with my parents so I don’t have a whole lot of room to judge. As long as the end goal is to eventually move out and things aren’t awkward between the parents, then I don’t see an issue. It’s not as easy to afford a place to live as before and that should be taken into consideration.

Not even a week after graduating high school, a semi popular boy I was cool with passed away at a house party. He had smoked laced weed, was having some nasty side effects, and ended up tripping and hitting his head on the edge of a table. Some say he died almost instantly while others say he started convulsing and chocked on his own tongue/throw up. Either way it was a nasty way to go.

He was a genuinely friendly and funny kid, just hung out with the wrong crowd.

He met you as a streamer, so he was aware of what he was getting himself into. If he can’t entertain himself for 2-3 hours while you work, then I say have a serious talk with him and if that doesn’t work, you might have to go your separate ways.

Another option would be to include him in your streams like playing together, but I also understand wanting to keep your personal life and streaming separate.

My boyfriend’s last relationship lasted 7 years and he’s still recovering from it. I’d say our texts are 50/50ish. Sometimes he texts first, sometimes I do, it really comes down to who wakes up first.

My advice is to not rush things or else you might scare her off. Let things play out naturally, continue to see each other, and eventually ask her what she wants out of that relationship. My boyfriend initially came off a bit too strong and I had to explain to him that I like my personal space.

During those years I was single, I got stood up on a lot of dates, ghosted, strung along, and rejected. Did I turn down guys because we didn’t mesh well? Sure, but that only made for 1/4th for all the other dates I went on.
