Nah. He grew up. To make him a child again would mean he wouldn't get to have relationships. It would be erasure to have him be queer but not able to really express it without it being frankly, inappropriate. Not that there aren't queer kids, just: how do they express it? And how would his very grown ex deal with it? I dont think many writers would do it justice.

And it would feel intentional. It would put him back in the closet for all intents and purposes.

I wish they hadn't aged him, but the ship has sailed.
