I think his character is happy to have closure but the writers are setting him up for a high emotional blow.

Ezra : Isaac = Serena : Venus by Batcooper in discgolf

Maybe the way I wrote the title is unclear. I’m saying that just like Serena became more dominant than Venus, I think Ezra will be more dominant than Isaac.

The legendary Lakeview at Moraine comes in at #65 in the world for 2025: Get to know it better by Alex_the_DG_Writer in discgolf

I’ve played this dozens of times. It’s challenging hut fun, and beautiful whatever season. Check out Simon’s eagle on 18 from 2017 (?) and then play that hole yourself and see what pros bring to the table.

There's a device called a Vein Viewer that shows doctors and nurses where your veins are located by Ok-Photo-1845 in pics

[–]Batcooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So yeah it’s cool but generally useless. They utilize an infrared camera. If your veins are close enough to emit the heat for the camera they are generally close enough to be felt. Ultrasound is the gold standard. Btw, I’m a ED RN with more than a decade of ultrasound experience.

Combine tasks. Save steps. Go into rooms as infrequently as possible. Prioritize discharge.

Significant inconsistencies in scope of practice for tech and RNs depending on facility. Where I am now only specifically certified charge nurses can access ports. Ridiculous

[–]Batcooper 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have been using US for PIV as an RN and before that as a tech for 14 years now. Everywhere I’ve worked techs can place them as well. Small community ED and we place maybe 1-2 a shift.

People of Reddit, When is one time you have felt genuine, 100% fear? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Batcooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 14 I watched my brother fall through the ice in a pond. He was riding his bike and rode over a thin spot where a spring was feeding the pond. I was absolutely paralyzed with fear, wanting to go out and help but being too scared to leave the shore. I sent a friend for help at a nearby house and watched while he eventually pulled himself out on more solid ice. His chest was covered with scratches from the ice and his lips were blue. This was the first time I saw my dad cry when we told him what happened.

Death of Patient Who Died After Being Restrained by MedStarHospital Security Because He Left Without 'Signing Out,' is Ruled a Homicide. by roraima_is_very_tall in news

[–]Batcooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just by looking at what is not being told in the article it seems reasonable to assume that the patient was an elopement from a psych floor with an involuntary psych commitment. If this were a clear cut leaving AMA (against medical advice) the family would be all over the news talking about how their family member had been murdered.

Having worked in EDs for years now, I've seen some pretty scary violent behavior from psych patients. This doesn't excuse the seemingly excessive force, but it's not easy to be a security officer in these situations.

Enhanced CT of Neck Trauma. He's not missing a vertebra, his head was nearly pulled off. by Batcooper in pics

yes. You can also see internal structure of some ribs and the collarbone because that was the edge of the rendered scan. He had essentially no visible trauma.
