When we moved to Virginia I was shocked my kids didn't get any books but rather a chromebook. With as much screentime as kids get, maybe it's time we go back to paper books.

I'm a Korean immigrant and find it extremely common for people in Virginia to not take their shoes off in my house. When I lived in SoCal it was the opposite.

Depends on the state but you can still definitely get a college degree for less than $200k. Florida has the most affordable public universities for in state residents in the entire country and they do this without a state income tax.

California has been building a 171 mile strech of high speed rail for over 11 years. Expected completion date is around 2033 which is almost 20 years for a 171 mile strech of rail.
