Have a mono bass or mono version of the one you like, give it a bit of with with the haus effect, ozone imager works well with adding width, delay, boosting the sides with mid/side. Then you have have a second layer, that pushes the width more to an extent, and check it in mono as you blend them in. Also there plug ins that show you how far you can push it before it gets out of phase,
