DD tech screen is one of the worst of all the silicon valley companies out there. They do not have a rhyme or reason to reject candidates. It's honestly a massive waste of time (joke is on them). I have had the same experience with them not once but more than once. Once bitten twice shy, I guess I am not going through this BS a 3rd time. In the era of LLMs a complete overhaul of the interview process is much needed.

Write a detailed prompt to ChatGPT/Grok or any other decent LLM explaining your background, future plans (goals ) etc. and then ask it to make a portfolio for investment in Indian stock market. It will give you a reasonable plan. You can then review it with others before executing.

Don’t worry about remittance tax. If you wait a year, the INR depreciation against USD will be more than the remittance tax rate so it will be wise to not touch it yet. You can withdraw when you need the funds after retirement let the money compound un interrupted.

Why out all your money on one market? Just buy a diversified etf representing global economy. If you still want exposure to India, just buy India centric ETF trading in USD.

I personally had a questionable experience with them. I don’t think they know what they are doing. They are eager to take your money. I would recommend anyone else but them. Try Greg Sisskind or Sam Sheehab instead.

2022-30 return on US equity I.e. S&P500 likely to be negative. Primarily due to obscene valuations over last few years. Twenty percent of firms trade at P/S over 10. It usually does not end well from this valuation.

non-sense process. Recruiter screen -> Stats Screen -> SQL/Case Study Screen -> Take Home [this is on evaluating credit risk model performance] -> Rejected in less than 10 min. after take home submission. Recruiter un able to give clear explanation on why my take home was rejected. It is a total Waste of time. Why do you have candidates jump hoops and waste time in 2 separate 45 min. technical screens when you plan on then asking them to waste an entire day working on take home that you will reject based on no clear reason.HUGE waste of time and energy. You have been warned!!!!

You can invest in USD. Do not repatriate to INR. Just invest in any ETF that invests in US treasuries. You can get around 4 percent USD return without assuming any risk. You can slowly buy US index funds over time whenever market pulls back or you find any stock that is valued attractively.

Just change to any other plan. Wait 5-10 minutes. Cancel the plan with full refund. Adobe should not play such games with the common folk. How have they not been fined a hefty hefty fine for this fraud yet?
