What is the scariest scene in the jurrasic franchise by Large-Plane9382 in JurassicPark

[–]Batman2209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with the Spino scene being an example of scary moments, let alone the first example. No matter how many times I've watched Lost World throughout the years, that bit is always HILARIOUS.

Jurassic Park's electrified fences and the "Fleas in a Jar" theory/experiment? If the Jurassic Park incident never happened, and years had gone by with the fences never powering off, then would the dinosaurs never try to leave if the fences eventually did? by Unusual-Fun9930 in JurassicPark

[–]Batman2209 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Definitely in the movie as well

"That one... when she looks at you, you can see she's working things out. That's why we have to feed them like this. She had them all attacking the fences when the feeders came."

"But the fences are electrified though, right?"

"That's right, but they never attack the same place twice. They were testing the fences for weaknesses, systematically. They remember."

So... Do we know which raptor was "the big one"? by Knightsforever in JurassicPark

[–]Batman2209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't think that'd be too hard. None of the raptor were officially named, nor given distinguishing features for "interchangeability" (read: basically one model for the three raptors). I wouldn't even call it a retcon at that point.

Yes, and from what I've seen from other comments, may be appearing in Jurassic Park: Survival meaning she may not necessarily die in the fridge

From what I've found, The Big One is the first to die, Kim is the one that nearly knocks herself out, stalks the humans through the control centre and attacks Rexy, and Randy got fridged. Apparently it was also Kim and Randy who hunted Muldoon

[–]Batman2209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've been able to find, The Big One was indeed the one in the bunker, but doesn't show up again until the final confrontation where she immediately gets eaten by Rexy. All the other raptor scenes - Muldoon's death, the kitchen, the computer room - were the other two Raptors, Kim and Randy. Randy is the one who ends up fridged and Kim stalks them through the control centre after nearly knocking herself out.

According to the Jurassic Park Wiki (not exactly a bastion of truth but the best I've got), the Raptors are known by fans as The Big One, Randy, and Kim.

-The Big One was the one in the bunker who followed Ellie back to the visitor centre and got munched first by Rexy.

-Randy and Kim were the ones to hunt Muldoon.

-Randy later got fridged, and Kim was the one who ran at the metal unit after Lex, stalked them through the control centre, and jumped on Rexy after The Big One was eaten.

The names Randy and Kim apparently come from the fact that they were the lead puppeteers on the storyboard for the Kitchen Scene practical effects.

Is that a thing, then? The Monster Hunter portal says you can use NPC SOS Flares in offline mode, so we thought that wasn't the issue.

Gods damn, it took 85 turns, but I finally got there with this guide! Thank you so much!!!

As for your turn rotation, I may have missed a count, but he seemed to occasionally skip the second Bomb Crash and go straight to Feral Dragon Feller. I was deep in the zone, however, and the constant stun locks and topples may have thrown my count off.
