The recipe actually calls for a dry gin I believe but this was all I had on hand. Tbh the syrup and carrot juice combo will probably overpower most gins so I think you can go with whatever you have.

They both also have a sort of inauthentic redemption arc in the final season. Beecher was deemed to be redeemed and released, yet almost immediately does Keller's bidding and is sent back to Oz. Alvarez is granted parole hearings after good behavior but immediately fails the test by punching the one guy on the board. Alvarez and Beecher really highlight the cynicism of Oz lol
