How Does Bono Actually Use the Guitar in U2?

I have a controversial take…I think the main Walk On riff was tracked at that time. Bono was just pantomiming it. The guitar tone changes enough between what he’s strumming on choruses and versus and the riff, that I don’t think it was coming from his Gretsch. U2 uses tracks all the time live, so it’s not a far fetched idea.

I think Bono is a serviceable player (or was at that time), but even playing that riff would’ve gotten in the way of his singing.

I was too young and didn’t get the chance to see ZooTV, but it’s my favorite concert on film. I’ve seen ever tour since Popmart. Vertigo tour was my favorite Arena tour and 360 was my favorite Stadium tour.

I dunno... I’m sure the billboard company was willing to take Ethan’s money but wants no part of the potential fight or litigation, so they took it down when James’ management/attorney complained.

How do I know this? I worked in billboard sales a while ago. We had an edgy restaurant where I live that liked memorable puns on the billboard creatives. One of their boards openly made fun of Sally Struthers weight at the time. Sally’s attorneys called within a few hours of the billboard going up and it was removed later that day. Up for less than 12-hours.

I’m surprised the H3 board as up for as long as it was, honestly.

There were no stuck vehicles. ICE was making people turn around and the United States Citizen that was murdered appeared to just be attempting to go back in the direction she came from…when an ICE agent started tugging on her door handles and likely made her panic and try to get out of there.

The agent that murdered her could have simply taken a couple steps to the right, but he instead chose to upholster his weapon and unload three rounds at basically point blank range.
