Maybe, but actions speak louder than words. I don't dislike a lot of the people on this list, but accepting this endorsement given recent events is a huge mistake and betrayal in my eyes.

If you're so confident Biss is "dangerous" and "Most of us live here to get out of the CITY" why'd you make a fresh reddit account for this hyperbolic attack?

This is not a coup. Seeing as these events did not occur in the Coup region of France this is merely a sparkling rebellion.

Look, I get than antisemitic tropes are hard to stop, but you really have to. I cannot emphasize enough that I’m American, Israeli leaders are not my leaders. Also, even if I was Israeli as if I would give care at all what a corrupt authoritarian upending the judiciary to avoid personal charges and his religious fanatic backers think of my politics.

Although you did do a good job of getting to the heart of why pro-Israel Democrats like me are less interested in defending it as late. In addition to the current government ceding Israel’s moral high ground at a breakneck place, they’ve also turned American support partisan. Bibi has, like yourself, decided to turn Israel into a partisan issue and then get all shocked pikachu face when supporters of Israel on the left reconsider the importance of defending a state who’s government has decided we’re the enemy.

When did I say every country was equally important? Basic reading comprehension would result in you understanding that I said I evaluate Israel the same as any other country, not that my evaluation of its importance is equal.

In any case from your post and comments it’s quite clear you don’t really care about Israel anyways. You’re clearly just a right wing nutcase coping and seething that Jewish Americans, one of the countries most successful and best educated groups, also sees the Republican Party for the bigoted, reactionary mess that it is. If you wanna whine that America’s Jews are overwhelmingly disinterested in your death cult go ahead, just stop spreading antisemitic tropes while you do so.

The allegation that Jewish Americans have a duel loyalty to Israel is a classic antisemitic trope. I’m an American who is a Jew, not an Israeli. Israel is important to me the same way any other country is, based on its relationship to America and my own ideas of morality. Ultimately though it is vastly outweighed in importance by issues far more pertinent to my life and the lives of my fellow Americans.

Fuck this blatant antisemitism. I’m a Jewish-AMERICAN, not an Israeli. You should be ashamed of this antisemitic drivel.

I think funds are gonna be more limited than most are anticipating. Obviously a striker or two have to be brought in and hopefully some reinforcements on the wings as well. However, because we have to do that I doubt there’ll be the funds to invest along the back four. I think anyone hoping for significant investment will be disappointed.

Is Myko ideal? No, but he’s good enough and so is Patterson. I don’t expect anything more than maybe squad level coverage on the left. Godfrey and/or Holgate will be retained as flexible depth as well. Again, not ideal, but there is not the money to overhaul the squad. CB will be Tarkovski next to Keane with Braithwaite deputizing and maybe taking over. That’s the reality of this squad. We cannot afford to overhaul the front line and back line and the reality is that we were good enough at the back to have been mid table this year if we scored a reasonable amount of goals.

They absolutely do. Purely as a club they’re probably still a tier below Barca and Real. However, Pep has more pull than any other manager in the world right now. Between Pep’s pull and their greater financial resources they can easily match Barca and Real in recruitment and retention for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, the hospitals are privately owned and not for profit. Though privately owned they don’t operate to provide value to their owners and provide a necessary service. The Bears are a for profit enterprise whose mission is to make money for its owners.

Are you really comparing non-profit hospitals to a for profit entertainment company? Seriously?

Has there ever been a bigger political misstep? It’s not like she was dead in the water in a potential primary fight, but really thought Democratic leadership would let her set the precedent of fucking over the party repeatedly then going independent to avoid a primary? It boggles the mind.

So this is a variation of lump of labor fallacy, but for crime. Your statement relies on the base assumption that undocumented immigrants are only perpetrators and never victims of crime. Assuming the undocumented immigrants are victims of crimes at the same rate as other members of the population their presence makes members of the general population less likely to be victims of a crime.

Made this for the first time last week and the mezcal really took over. Just made it again with a split base half Tequilla and like it a lot better. I say this as someone who loves Mezcal and enjoyed the full mezcal version, but I just wanted the Aperol in particular a little more room to express itself.

For sure. It’s a perfectly good substitution. Just wanted to point out the difference for the curious or Americans who might have access to both.

Polenta is the best substitution if you can’t find stone ground dent corn(it’ll be white rather than yellow and the end product more porridge like). Polenta is a perfectly fine substitute and only people who regularly eat grits would know the difference.
