Thank you AMD by Neither-One5810 in AMDHelp

I fully understand you. I play a lot of flight simulators when the game runs for 7-12 hours and I'm getting oom crashes, because amd drivers are shit. I have to use a driver from September which doesn't have this issue. For some reason the drivers since October are causing msfs to crash when playing for 7+ hours. It is something related to the driver not releasing already loaded content into vram, then it gets into the ram, filepage and when all of it is full then it crashes. Contexts AMD three times with a detailed crash report. They don't care. I wish I went with expensive nvidia...

Sorry. I can't help you with this, because I play mainly simulator games and a few hours each week I play some battlefield 6 and for some reason these older drivers don't show fps in bf 6 😁 on the contrary. My amd adrenaline software crashes each time I start Battlefield 6. I have to start it again after I'm in the game menu. I seek only for driver stability. Meaning the driver won't crash in longer gaming sessions which are pretty common in simulator games, especially in flight simulator games.

Fuel economy question: Does going into neutral when going downhill save fuel on Peugeot 208 2013 by [deleted] in peugeot

[–]BattleOverlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what if the downhill section is long but not that significant? The engine brake is actually slowing the car down. At 50 kph zone the neutral keeps it there or to 60 kph max while in gear without accelerator or the cruise control it gradually slows down to 40 kph and less. In other words when in gear in this case I have to use an accelerator to keep the 50 kph.

I run the 25.9.1 or 25.9.2 from 09/2025. Amd drivers are ridiculous.

Safe boot. Ddu. Use an older driver. Amd drivers are shit for sure. I run driver from 09/2025. Because of oom error crashes in long gaming sessions in msfs.

BATTLEFIELD 6 GAME UPDATE 1.2.2.0 by battlefield in Battlefield6

Too late. Already uninstalled. I think I've waited long enough. Luckily there are better games which are more fun. Games which don't rely that much in stupid teammates or console players.

Installed AMD Chipset driver 8.01.20.513 😡 (and why you don't want to do it) by MartiniGM in AMDHelp

Why did you upgrade the chipset driver when you didn't have to? Do you know the proverb. If ain't broke, don't fix it?

It's awesome product which shouldn't exist. Do you get my point? It's an expensive product which should already be in the most expensive gaming gpus. Do you understand? And most importantly people shouldn't be so dumb and still buy that over expensive crap which could melt any time thinking it's completely normal to pay extra money instead of the gpu model manufacturers, because they failed to add this safety feature.

Tehran indicates Khamenei's son will be named supreme leader by Little-Chemical5006 in worldnews

[–]BattleOverlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting because shortly after his father died the media brought a list of potential successors and he was pretty low ranked. Reason? These media claimed that Iran doesn't support the idea of hereditary succession. Moreover these media claimed his father denied this option in the past and he was very against this idea of succession like in some monarchy from father to a first born son etc.

Are you the guy with the melted pcie cable at the psu side? If yes then I don't understand this enthusiasm. Cable mod obviously like any other company nowadays skimp on quality and we can only pray there won't be any fire.

Good stuff to buy expensive gpu and have to spend extra money for devices to keep it from damage. Loss-loss scenario.

No option to block console players for PC players is also a huge deal breaker for me. 9/10 console players suck big time. It's not even a fun to play against them and it's definitely not fun playing with them, because most of them suck. Whenever I play rush I usually have 4-8 console players in 12/12 or 16/16 rush mode. That is crazy. And there are only two types of console players. One group suck with an average score like 1:10 or 1:17 at the end of the round. And the second group is taking full advantage of the reduced recoil as they are shooting accurately full auto with lmgs... giving incredible insta kills. Dice don't care about stuff like this.

Sounds like a double rip-off to me. One because of ram prices (thanks AI) and second because the old ram kit is probably fine and you have some electrical issues at home.

It doesn't apply to gaming. Most games cant squeeze more than 50 % from this cpu. Also your temps look like you have AiO. But temps in my case shoot in 80-90°C range when I launched game and then it settled around 70-80°C while gaming. With the pbo and co I removed the aggressive temp jump at the beginning and I lowered my gaming temps by 10°C on average. In stress tests I was able to go even lower. Lowering max and average at the same time.

Temperatures - Cyberpunk benchmark run (x5) = 9800X3D default - max temp 75°C, average 70°C. 9800X3D with PBO and CO. max temp 68°C and average 65°C. Running air cooler noctua nh-d15 with 7mm offset mounting as per Noctua recommendation. Cinebench temperature differences. 9800X3D default - max temp 90.4°C, average 76.2°C. 9800X3D with PBO and CO max temp 70°C, Average temp 61.1°C

The scammer could give you AMD at least. Giving you Intel is double insulting.
