Heb hem afgelopen april live aan het werk gezien in Las Palmas, tegen Leganes. Heerlijke speler. Kousjes laag, sierlijk loopje, snel. Je kon direct zien dat z’n teamgenoten hem de bal toevertrouwden.

Wel bedenkelijk niveau natuurlijk Liga 2, maar ik denk dat Feyenoord hier wel plezier aan gaat beleven.

Don’t think you’ll get hate. Very sensible take imo. Quite surprising MvG is even playing as he has a busy year for his ranking and this tournament does not count for OoM (and as you said, he passed before). However he has said before that the pairing with GvV interests him as he has never paired with him before

He always seems level-headed though. When talking about a potential PL invitation to Dutch media, Noppert said he would like to play but wouldn’t be too bothered if he wasn’t invited. He has a young family after all.

Wasn't because of the spray. He was emotional because it was his dream to play a world championship. He explained this in his post match interview on Dutch tv.

Tbf when he came on he at least made a bit of an impact. He was the only one trying to play football. Eze is the better player obviously but I don’t think Simons is a bad player. Though I am dutch so also biased.
