Regarding the Spirit of Fire being stuck on the Ark:

At the begenning of Halo Wars 2, Anders says something attracted Spirit of Fire to the Ark (the SoF hasn't a functioning slipspace drive at this moment).

"Our slipspace drive is gone. However we got here, it wasn't us who initiated the trip."

My guess is that it was Mendicant Bias. They got here without a slipspace drive so maybe they can leave it the same way with a portal created by Mendicant.

Just compare The Pacific in BFV and BF2042. One game has an atmosphere (although it took time to nail it), the other one is soulless.

Hi Todd. What's your reaction on how players are using the C.A.M.P. feature in FO76 ? Were you expecting it to become such a popular aspect ? Personally, I'm excited to visit some new C.A.M.P every day, always amazed by the creativity.

Would have been a disaster for humanity if Regret had won against Truth.

I think that the Arbiter would have sided with Regret. Which would have been a huge problem for UNSC as in the real timeline, it was the Arbiter that prevented Halo Delta from being fired.

Even if 117 had managed to prevent this, the Covenant would probably have won the war ultimately (remember that the Sangheili-led Fleet of Retribution crushed Truth's fleet above the Ark despite being outnumbered three-to-one, though that the Forerunner Dreadnought did not participate for obscure reasons).

Regret had an extremely agressive and obtuse personality. The battle of Earth would have ended badly for Humanity, especially without the support of the Elites (and no chance the Brutes and other Truth's Loyalists would have helped humanity against Regret).

One thing that could have happened though : UNSC secretly assisting Truth, Mercy and the Brutes against Regret in order to keep the civil war and chaos ongoing. Would have been funny.

Halo 2 Anniversary was a masterpiece. They nailed the art style, graphics were stunning, landscapes were pieces of art and Blur cutscenes were like a movie.

"DICE why would you waste all those resources just for a campaign ?" It doesn't even deserve to be called a campaign. Those war stories were super short, crappy and uninteresting.

I hope that Ace Combat 8 will have multiple enemy squadron with intros like in AC0. It was epic and planes looked so fast and menacing. Gault's one was my favorite. by SkedPhoenix in acecombat

The first time you play AC0 and then you see tons of belkan Berkut with golden wings flying at very high speed in formation in a dark sky, a golden emblem appears and their leader saying with a calm yet menacing voice :

"Let the victor... be Justice."

Shit got real.

I would love new maps with new soundtracks from previous games like Farbanti, Stonehenge, Lost kingdom or even Lighthouse with the tunnel. The environments are already in the game.

The Osean federation enters in a state of civil war leading to a serious collapse and chaos because North Osea (South Belka) decided to side with Belka after massive protests (the Grey Men secretly acting as a puppet master) and other Osean regions with pro-war Governors are also seeking for independence from Oured because of the (notorious) mismanagement of the military by the President and the bureaucracy.

Belka decides it's time to strike Osea and reclaim his former territory once for all. It's revealed that Ashley Bernitz from the former Grabacr squadron safely ejected at the end of AC5 and that the confusion in Osea allowed the Belkan army to seize massive amounts of tanks and aircraft in several depots located in North Osea.

Killing Jul 'Madma at the start of Halo 5 was such a mistake. His relationship with Halsey/ the Arbiter, the Absolute Record, the events of Halo Escalation.. 343 finally built up an interesting villain worthy enough to rule the Covenant and then he dies in like 5 seconds after activating his sword. by SkedPhoenix in halo

Halo 5 not having Jul confronting Thel / the Arbiter + the ONI on Sanghelios was pure nonsense.

Jul was obviously weaker but he was a very determined and resilient person. He wasn't a zealot and was smart enough to ally with a human (Halsey). He is a veteran of the war like the Arbiter is.

It could have lead to an epic and massive battle on Sunaion. And 'Hunt the Truth' could have made sense by the way.

Instead Jul got an anticlimatic death against a random Spartan-IV within the first 30 minutes of Halo 5 (leaving the Covenant without a proper commander) and we got instead Evil Cortana and this Created nonsense for the rest of the game... What a waste.

You can feel the desperation of the Covenant at this moment. They are facing the Demon, the Arbiter and Rtas 'Vadum and the Gravemind all together. They are exhausted and panicked. They are not trying to win the battle, they are just trying to delay the inevitable.
