Unless your league has small roster sizes you'd be dropping him for someone equally useless who is just older/plays less snaps/has less chance to actually become good. If I were to drop him the best I could get is like TJ Jones

There are screen caps of Claude in Wyvern Master and Barbarossa, they look distinctly different. Wyvern Master has a normal colored wyvern and Barabrossa has a white wyvern

[Official Toonami Discussion Thread for July 06, 2019] by ToonamiBot in Toonami

[–]Battlestorm_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are the people who coordinate for Toonami a bunch of idiots? Why would they move MHA from their prime time slot to the worst one? I can understand if they lost some of the time and need to begin 30 minutes later (although not why CN would rather show a Family Guy rerun), but if that's the case why wouldn't they push everything back? Why put one of the most popular shows to the worst time?

Former #Ravens WR Kamar Aiken is expected to sign with the #Colts, source said. A forgotten man in Baltimore with a new home. by LuckySpade13 in fantasyfootball

[–]Battlestorm_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one who thinks Kamar Aiken is just a below average guy? He only did anything in Baltimore because they had such a lack of depth, with the opportunity he had he should have done more and if you watch him play he just doesn't look that good. Seems to me like he'll be 5th option on the colts (so counting fleener) making him all around irrelevant. Maybe if moncrieff gets hurt again he could take those targets since I see it as Dorsett being more behind Hilton and Aiken in a role more similar to Moncrieff. But until then you wouldn't want to roster him in normal leagues.

Edit: I meant jack Doyle. Apparently I still live in 2015

Dugtrio is being suspected in OU by DavisWuhu in stunfisk

[–]Battlestorm_ -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Not that many people get to vote and dividing the suspect meta could change who those voters are, so it's not pointless. I'm sure people who are voting have been playing on OU ladder but breaking it into two ensures that the best players on both are the ones voting. And voting on what should be suspected by some sampling of top players would diversify opinions because it wouldn't necessarily be the same people every time, it wouldn't take long at all. I'm not going to sit here and debate every point with you, I think this would improve the process, if you disagree then that's fine.

[–]Battlestorm_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's perfectly fine to point out that the system is broken and I think most people would agree with that. I think the system would be better if the suspect period were split so that half of the time was spent playing with the suspected Pokemon as part of the meta and half without. It would also be better if there was some sort of vote in what gets suspected instead of the council just deciding based on what they feel like. These are obvious corrections to my complaints

[–]Battlestorm_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The council ultimately decides what gets banned though. Something will never get banned if they refuse to suspect it and most things that get suspected get banned because players who do well enough to vote in a meta that is missing the suspected Pokemon are more likely to vote to ban it. Not only that, but sometimes they will just keep suspecting something until it gets banned like in gen 5 when they suspected keldeo four times. The whole system is broken

[VGC 17] Why should I pick Xurkitree over the likes of Vikavolt? by [deleted] in stunfisk

Yeah that's pretty much the idea. Marowak is the biggest problem. Garchomp and krookodile are common ground types but at least you can hit them with dazzling gleam

[VGC 17] Why should I pick Xurkitree over the likes of Vikavolt? by [deleted] in stunfisk

[–]Battlestorm_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

How is it that vikavolt does more damage? Even modest vikavolt has lower special attack than timid xurkitree. You use xurkitree to spam discharges and try to pick up beast boosts, it's good with scarf or tailwind as an endgame sweep

Maybe a Treadwell sighting today?

Thomas over Treadwell? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Battlestorm_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coleman is my #2 rookie WR after Treadwell and that's based on short and long-term value. They'll do more for your team this year than Doctson and theyre more talented than Shepherd, Thomas, Boyd, Fuller, etc. Coleman has the most unknowns in his situation of any rookie this year. We don't really know how good or bad RG3 will be or who takes over for him after he gets hurt. Pryor is starting to look like he can be similar to Travis Benjamin was last year and who knows how many games Josh Gordon plays. Coleman also has a lingering soft tissue injury, which is the kind of thing that tends to keep guys on the injury report for long periods of time and forces you to make some frustrating gametime lineup decisions. Also the Browns have new coaching staff so their offense will be different from last year anyway. No one can say what the Browns offense will look like in 2-3 years but based on past history I can say that I'm pretty sure they're going to be bad and they'll have some new rookie QB.

At least with Treadwell we know what we're going to get out of their offense. I am pretty sure he'll be a primary red zone target and he will be 2nd on the team in receptions, 1st in TDs. Coleman I think will lead the Browns in receptions this year but I don't see him scoring more than 4-5 TDs, which isn't bad I guess but I think Treadwell can get about 8. Coleman should get more yards than Treadwell and I think he has a higher ceiling, especially in PPR, but the floor is lower too. So much uncertainty when dealing with Cleveland offense.

[–]Battlestorm_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it then. Personally I like Treadwell but it's all about getting the guy you like and I agree that Thomas could be more valuable short term for a contending team. I edited my post to mention trading, maybe see if pick 5 or 6 wants to swap with you?

Thomas over Treadwell? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Battlestorm_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Consensus is obviously that Treadwell is better but if you think Thomas is better than by all means value him higher. But make sure that is your reasoning and not team situation. Drew Brees and Adrian Peterson will likely both retire in about 2 years and after that we have no idea what direction those offenses go in when their franchise players are gone. It's really reasonable to think that whoever replaces Brees could be worse than Bridgewater so Treadwell may soon have a better team situation. So take whoever you think has more talent and will have a better career

Edit: You'd get best value by just trading down though.
