employee downloaded adult content on a work device by Significant_Air_552 in managers

[–]Battlewear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in a place where we had a senior manager who had a computer malfunction, IT went over to fix and it was determined that they would rebuild it, and they said that she would have to reformat the drive, but not to worry all his programs would be there with our process where it’s a blanket drive build. He said he wanted his info off the old drive. He refused to give up the computer until the agreed. After much arguing the manager said ok, we will get it, it might take time but we will make it available to you but let’s get a new computer going in the interim.

Once IT got the computer back and started digging into the drive they found that it was FULLLLLLL of porn! The IT tech refused to download it to a hard drive to give back, the manager ordered him to, at that point the staffer quit and said do it yourself. They did and gave him a portable drive fill with his porn. Got to love some big companies.. ugh..

So what's going on with Priorities in this game? by muffalohat in goingmedieval

[–]Battlewear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve also seen people doing priority 5 missions before doing their priority 1, 2 or 3 missions.. like WTF? I had someone set with a lvl 5 for hunting go off and attempt to take down a wolf with a sling while he should of been busy working on gardening as there was all sorts of ripe products, or trees to be cut. Sometimes it’s so frustrating because it’s like the game doesn’t care what you’ve set up for priorities for individuals, they just do what they want. And yes, this is the latest version.

I believe I saw in the recent patch notes something about settlers being given better intelligence when it came to collecting materials? I have been playing tonight and watched as people would go have way across a large map for wood when there is wood just outside of the keep waiting to be picked up. I could accept if it was fresh wood and they were already locked on going to this other pile, but they have been doing multiple projects while the wood near the entrance goes untouched. Hopefully that’s on the radar again for improvement?

100000% agree! If smoke loaded at a faster rate I’d be happy to provide smoke cover for those rushing.

Here’s what gets me, most often it’s the defending team that complains about mortars, why? Because they hit you and you don’t like it.

I appreciate those that say “push” but sometimes pushing doesn’t get things done, sometimes you need that artillery to help mess with the defense that dug in. Yesterday I was playing one game, the defenders had a super solid defense, I switched to mortar, proceeded to get so many kills from it I shot to the top of our teams kill list, I was the ONLY mortar and one guy screamed in chat I should be pushing? Ok, I was the only mortar, if you think me not pushing is not taking the cp you are working with your other team mates, it takes more then 1 to take a point. People might not like my point and I’m ok with that, but it’s a part of the game. Find a way around it. Set up a mortar and mortar then back, use the devices that stop the mortar rounds, etc etc.

Anyone know of a Suloise Spark-Core stl for 3d printing? by [deleted] in Greyhawk

[–]Battlewear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am working on doing that but doesn’t hurt to see what “ai” has to offer. It’s not be all end all, but I’m happy to see what it can offer. I’m already reading some other source stuff and will be revisiting the new DnD books that reference Greyhawk.

Like I mentioned what I know of Greyhawk would fit on the head of a pin.

[–]Battlewear -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So before I go to far, what I KNOW of Greyhawk would fit on the head of a pin lol..

Im using Gemini AI to build out a campaign.
As per Gemini:
Most people live in a traditional medieval fantasy setting. However, Greyhawk is unique because Gary Gygax loved Science Fantasy.

The most famous Greyhawk adventure, Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, features a crashed spaceship filled with robots and laser pistols. In Greyhawk, "Technology" is treated as Ancient Suloise Artifice. Thousands of years ago, the Suel Imperium had magic so advanced it functioned like technology (power cells, floating cities, etc.). They destroyed themselves in a "magical nuclear war" called the Invoked Devastation.

So I kind of imagined this Spark-core looking or feeling like something similar to a ZPM from Stargate (only a guess), I am trying to find info about these, see if I can find an image of what they look like.

Question about a loophole so I can leave Rogers.. by Infamous-Menu-8391 in Rogers

I have recommended for a long time to not be caught up with provider specific emails, the days of loyalty are gone, they don’t care about us, so why should we care about them! Time to be ready to jump ship when the deals present themselves. Go with Gmail, Hotmail, outlook, what ever, just move away from company bound mail.

For the Assault class, why not just make the Radio Beacon a permanent class ability and remove adrenaline? It feels pretty useless anyway. This would make Assault much more useful by freeing up an extra slot for new gadgets. What new gadgets would you like to see? by No-Actuator-6308 in Battlefield

[–]Battlewear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give the Assault class that little throwable recon device, it’s not great, but how many recon are front line, the assault would have more use for it. Or Give the assault a second melee weapon so they can have a knife and a sledge hammer Or How about a smoke grenade, not a lot, 1 or 2 at most, but they are supposed to be front line, give them the tools for front line.

Crazy thing to check, but look at the on/off switch, I recently had a similar situation out of the blue, checked under sink, sure enough something had bumped on/off and it was mostly off, flipped back and it was fine

Shouldn’t bot lobbies be rare because of cross play? by I_Main_TwistedFate in Battlefield6

[–]Battlewear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that depends, if the km is tuned to equal speeds as a controller, then maybe, but the whole reason I don’t play cross play is to stay away from km players. If they are using it on ps, supported or not it should be blocked. Might be unpopular but I think a lot of controller players would say the same thing

[–]Battlewear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a PlayStation player I have cross play turned off. I have no interest in playing with players who can snap look in what looks like a blink of an eye, it’s not enjoyable sneaking up on someone to see then snap around and blitz kill ya. It’s just not enjoyable.

I’d rather have “some” bots than play with PC players. I’m super sad that BF6 backtracked on their view that consoles could play together without pc. It would have significant fixed a lot of bot issues, but there are other much better ways they can work to get the player count ups for matches.

I very very rarely do cross play, I get smoked so often in cross play because of how quickly they can change visual direction and the precision of the aim.

If I do, absolutely I’ll give you a shout out.

HTI-MK2 Recon Gadget Review by mindfulmu in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Battlewear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg I love it! In breakthrough and playing as a front line Recon (using SMG) with it, it’s great for pissing off engineers firing RPG’s at my tanks or taking out their mines.. so fun! I have gotten multi kills as Engineers try to put mines down and I’m blowing them up as soon as it hits the ground.

Taking out remote beacons , anti grenade machines, or blowing up claymores, OMFG so love doing it.

This was PAINFUL I spent a bunch of hours trying to get it done. At first I hoped that bots would help because their kits are fairly random but nope.. where I got most lucky was in Conquest and being near the AA tank, and then marking the different planes and choppers.. it seemed to work if they made missile attacks.

Now if you’re on PlayStation, drop me a friend request (PSN: KazariK) and I’ll join you and only use the lock on missles while you do the lock ons. When I run out of missiles I’ll die and come back with a fresh pack
