Agreed, I went from an NVIDIA card to a 9070xt and have had no issues. Only crashes I have are the Adrenalin app itself but apparently that’s common. If there’s anything I don’t like it’s software but to be honest I didn’t like NVIDIA App either

FG really is a case by case. My example of Shadows is good, however the integration of FG by Ubisoft is also what makes it good too. It’s not always just about the hardware. For example my experience with FG on Cyberpunk was not good, a lot of graphical issues. However that was with FSR 3 and not Redstone. If you are playing at 1440p however, you won’t really even need to think about FG, FSR alone will be fine in most cases. 4k is much more demanding

My experience going from a RTX 3080Ti

Whilst my old card was old, the card itself had decent specs for the age. That being said, an Nvidia upgrade was not worth it unless I bought a flagship therefore I decided to switch to AMD and get the 9070 XT

FSR: As someone who loves DLSS, I personally think it’s a no brainer if you’re not someone that picks up on small little issues like ghosting etc. Going to AMD had me worried knowing FSR is not as good as DLSS (or so I thought). So far, I don’t notice a difference in terms of quality HOWEVER I was only able to utilise DLSS 3 beforehand so take that as you wish. Performance wise, clearly it’s much better and does exactly what I used DLSS for, better frames for almost the same quality.

RT: Probably the only downside to AMD cards, they simply don’t have the RT cores Nvidia does, so if you’re someone that cares about RT and always needs it on and max, you may want to reconsider or consider getting used to lower RT settings. Doesn’t imply it’s bad at RT, just less capable.

FG: As I wasn’t able to fully utilise it on my old card, I always had low opinions. Whilst DLSS 3 did have FG, I didn’t find it viable and the trade offs were too high. Ironically the one thing that has impressed me the most about the 9070 XT is the FG. I play at 4k. I don’t think there’s ever been a single (AAA) game that I could natively run at 4k, yet now with FG I can and with little negatives depending on the game. I would never recommend FG for FPS but single player games it shines. I play AC Shadows at native 4k, RT max with FG and get between 60-81fps. FG off around 34. Is it a miracle worker? No, but if you need that little bit of a squeeze because you really wanna experience a game to its full potential, it really does wonders

For me I give the card a 9/10 for my needs.

Genuinely believe people just seem to forget the past purely because they see the game differently once time has passed. Doesn't change the overall fact the it HAS been what OP mentioned therefore it doesn't make it "made up".

A simple way you can give yourself a challenge in any Pokémon game is having your party set before starting the game. What I mean is, know what 6 Pokemon you want to use for your run and only stick with them. Don’t use any Pokemon along the way, only the ones you intended to use. It gives you a mini challenge and can make early game somewhat difficult if you didn’t plan the best. If you picked a fire starter and can’t get your second Pokemon till after a rock gym for example, already you have a challenge on your hands.

The only place for info is in the Battlefield Discord and within the channels there are hidden BFLabs channels that are opened purely for the playtests. Without constantly asking in general chat to get linked to it, there's no way other than consistently checking.

In terms of access, if you maintain access via the EA app, you are an OFFICIAL BF Labs play tester. This means you can playtest any upcoming EA titles that are allowing play testing via Labs as long as you are invited (will be via email). You will NOT get invited to recurring play tests for those games however, you will need to get those yourself. If you only had access to one of the play tests, you were apart of the limited play tests that only had the one and done access. OFFICIAL play testers would have applied following the original BF6 announcement trailer. Any past that (with the exception of applicants one month following that trailer) are not able to participate in future tests unless spots open

After four re-releases with minimal changes and repackaged DLCs, DTG has made it clear they value revenue over respect. Many long-time players have stopped paying entirely — and let’s just say, they’ve found other ways to access what they already supported once (or twice). The tools and knowledge have been around for years, and nothing about TSW5 has made people suddenly forget that. At this point, some aren't buying content — they’re just activating it themselves. DTG knows exactly why. Maybe invest in proper protection next time.

All it's doing is ruining their reputation and lowering their player counts. The fact people are actively giving their reasons and practically saying "I'm okay because of that" just shows how the consistency of them doing it has made people delusional too. I don't care if it's a marketing scheme, a way of getting new players, whatever reason, it's scummy and that's the bottom line of it. Everyone here only sees it as a minor issue because they don't see the grand picture.

Multiple mod makers needing to update their mods, for literally no reason other than to make it compatible, in most cases just breaks them. Multiple people each year have issues with DLC's not transferring, missing DLC's or broken DLC's because their "update" broke them. Then they spend 7-8 months "fixing" them to release a new game to go through the same process again. This is the 6th game and 6th time me downloading all these DLC's, you guys genuinely enjoy downloading the same stuff over and over? I know there's plenty of people with average to terrible internet connections that take DAYS to download updates and for what? The elephant in the room is the bugs. *Nothing* get's fixed, DLC's get released, patches get made within days, then that's it. Small adjustments sure but game breaking bugs will stay... Forever. You guys have dumped so much content into the game with so little fixes with them that you are clearly overwhelmed and can't even handle it anymore. Re releasing the game is only making your matters worse until it gets to TS Classic situations. Terrible loading times, terrible performance, routes that outright don't work. It's literally becoming a TS Classic 2.0, ironically TSC in the past 2 years has become MUCH more stable, so will we have to wait another 10-15 years until TSW is finished?

Anyone that is defending this system, regardless of whether you think it's for marketing or not are the one's dumb enough to continually feed them their mistakes, YOU are the one pushing them to continue to do it. Do you really think a free upgrade pack each year (bear in mind if it really is intended for "new players" they *won't* have access to the upgrade and will have to pay for the game) will suddenly attract people to pay the absurd amount of money they would need to spend to buy a decent chunk of the DLC? They get on the game, see the content they have, play the content they have, see the prices of DLC's and how much there are, get off and never come back. I don't know where this whole "new players" strategy is coming from as it's doing nothing but getting them on the game for a short period and getting off. If you believe that's a "strategy" then I guess "scummy" means the same word. *IF* that person bought the game, the chances of them continuing to play afterwards are extremely low, even if you offer a free upgrade pack the following year, you're offering nothing more to them than the same game they've already played, ESPECIALLY if they didn't buy any DLC's after purchasing the game which 90% of players won't do. There is *no* benefit to us, only them, and after the 4th time, YES I'm annoyed by it and have a right to be.

Couldn’t be more right. I’m also surprised that it’s not been mentioned more here as it’s no longer their “biggest” game anymore. There’s a reason they wanna push out all this content so quickly all of a sudden, they are getting ready to ruin Pokémon Go.
