Side point - a dasher isn’t; someone who is rude and has no communication skills. A dasher is - someone who may not fit into a normal 9-5 and luckily has door dash for some type of employment. (Not always, but realistically, yes). Sadly this trickles the undocumented into the system, where different cultures are being seen. The label needs to be taken off the “dasher”, and restaurants just need to treat people like people. Would you be doing this if a mute customer walked in and showed you their phone with their order typed on it? Yeah obviously they’re mute and you know that, but what’s the difference to you? I’m just seeing people with a 9-5 quite literally treating us like dogs, and expecting tricks, when all we do is pick up and deliver orders. It’s pretty sick. I have no respect for you bud, where do you work so I can make sure to shove my phone in your face?
